Here, I though I'll get to take a deep breath and focus on a lot of stuff and be productive and everything but...
Just today, i got the news.
The Sianat draft will return on the council's table in two weeks. If you have forgotten about what this draft is: its basically cutting out internet bandwidth from the country in about a few months, through the excuse of internet policy.
Nothing will work here once its course is completed. No site, no apps, no vpn. Everything that uses global internet will just cease to exist for me and the people of my country.
Considering how the economy these days are with prices for basic goods sky roketing, more secrets and money theft of the higher ups being revealed and shared through social media, and protest getting heated up every day...
Its not unlikely for it to take place. (Remember flight 752 and the one week internet shutdown of 2019.)
I was hoping that when the draft started to fade away in the news back around spring Its gone for good, but no...
