the potato king has fallen

This isn't some silly little blogpost this go round no jokes, no laughs. I...honestly never saw this coming but, technoblade. he passed away recently and it has, for lack of a better word, stunned me. I have no personal relation or had any interactions with techno beyond just watching his videos. however I do love every bit of content he produced, and if I were to say anything he was quite the strategic genius. especially during his potato war with squidkid.

Anyway this is the video that was last posted on his channel, and no, it's not one of his gaming videos, it's a video from his family addressing what happened to techno.

Rest in peace, Potato King. Alex, as his true name is now known, shall forever be remembered as a hero to every one of his fans, I included, and may he be eating with the Kings and Queens of the past, as a true King should, in the Hall of Heroes.

Honestly, I never got to really watch most of his videos back then due to internet issues, and other every day problems, but I did watch the occasional video, and he was a great guy, funny, and smart. And I too, faced sadness when finding out that he had died, not to the extent those closer to him has felt, but enough that it impacted my day, and rolled on, and on. I'm making it my mission to watch every video he has available, within time, in order to remember the King, and the Man that he was.
