#5: Houndoom

(Gold): If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away.

(Platinum): The flames it breathes when angry contain toxins. If they cause a burn, it will hurt forever.

(Silver, FireRed, and Soul-Silver): Upon hearing its eerie howls, other Pokémon get the shivers and head straight back to their nests.

#4: Gengar, Mega-Gengar, and Gigantamax Gengar

(Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald): Sometimes, on a dark night, your shadow thrown by a streetlight will suddenly and startlingly overtake you. It is actually a Gengar running past you, pretending to be your shadow.

(Sun): Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up.

(Moon): It apparently wishes for a traveling companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans.

(Sun): Gengar's relationships are warped. It has no interest in opponents unless it perceives them as prey.

(Ultra-Sun): It tries to take the lives of anyone and everyone. It will even try to curse the Trainer who is its master!

(Gigantamax Gengar):

(Sword): Rumor has it that its gigantic mouth leads not into its body, filled with cursed energy, but instead directly to the afterlife.

(Shield): It lays traps, hoping to steal the lives of those it catches. If you stand in front of its mouth, you'll hear your loved ones' voices calling out to you.

#3: Gorebyss:
(Innocent Entries):

(Fire-Red and Leaf-Green): Its swimming form is exquisitely elegant. With its thin mouth, it feeds on seaweed that grows between rocks.

(Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl): It lives at the bottom of the sea. In the springtime, its pink body turns more vivid for some reason.

(HeartGold, and SoulSilver): Its pink body becomes more vivid with the rise of water temperatures in the springtime.

(And now...On to the scary entries)

(Sapphire and Alpha Sapphire): Although Gorebyss is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids.

(Emerald): A Gorebyss siphons the body fluids of prey through its thin, tubular mouth. Its light pink body color turns vivid when it finishes feeding.

(Ultra-Moon): It sucks bodily fluids out of its prey. The leftover meat sinks to the seafloor, where it becomes food for other Pokémon.

#3: Gourgeist:

(X): Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed.

(Y): It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey.

#2: Glalie:

(One Innocent Entry):

(Ruby and Omega Ruby): Glalie has a body made of rock, which it hardens with an armor of ice. This Pokémon has the ability to freeze moisture in the atmosphere into any shape it desires.

(Oh, you thought was innocent huh.....that's because you haven't heard what Sapphire and Alpha Sapphire had to say about it) : Glalie has the ability to freely control ice. For example, it can instantly freeze its foe solid. After immobilizing its foe in ice, this Pokémon enjoys eating it in leisurely fashion.

Mega Glalie:
(Sun): The excess energy from Mega Evolution spilled over from its mouth, breaking its jaw. It spews endless blizzards.

(Moon): It envelops prey in its mouth, freezing them instantly. But its jaw is dislocated, so it's unable to eat them.

(Ultra-Sun): When it spews stupendously cold air from its broken mouth, the entire area around it gets whited out.

(Ultra-Moon): The power of Mega Evolution was so strong that it smashed Glalie's jaw. Its inability to eat very well leaves Glalie irritated.

And now...For the Number 1 scariest Pokédex entries in Pokemon History....................Hypno:

(First are some innocent and informative entries):

(Red, Blue, and Leaf-Green): When it locks eyes with an enemy, it will use a mix of PSI moves such as Hypnosis and Confusion.

(Silver): Always holding a pendulum that it rocks at a steady rhythm, it causes drowsiness in anyone nearby.

(Crystal): The longer it swings its pendulum, the longer the effects of its hypnosis last.

(Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire): Hypno holds a pendulum in its hand. The arcing movement and glitter of the pendulum lull the foe into a deep state of hypnosis. While this Pokémon searches for prey, it polishes the pendulum.

(Emerald): The arcing movement and glitter of the pendulum in a Hypno's hand lull the foe into deep hypnosis. While searching for prey, it polishes the pendulum.

(Ultra-Sun): In Alola, Komala is Hypno's main target. It rarely harms people.

(Ultra-Moon): There are some Hypno that assist doctors with patients who can't sleep at night in hospitals.

(The last few entries now range from a little creepy to downright frightening, the last one sent a chill down my spine when I read it).
(Gold): When it is very hungry, it puts humans it meets to sleep, then it feasts on their dreams.

(Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl): Seeing its swinging pendulum can induce sleep in three seconds, even in someone who just woke up.

(Sun): While it is an extremely dangerous Pokémon, people who are in need of a good, sound sleep call it their savior.

(Moon): As a matter of course, it makes anyone it meets fall asleep and has a taste of their dreams. Anyone having a good dream, it carries off.

(Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee): Avoid eye contact if you come across one. It will try to put you to sleep by using its pendulum.

(And finally...The Scariest Hypno Pokédex Entry....................From Pokémon Fire-Red and Pokémon X): It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized.
