    Been awhile.

Hey, everyone. I swear I'm working on more Batty. But between working on the new book and one of my editors being beyond busy, I've often had to choose between getting the book editted or having them look at Batty. Next chapter will be out soon enough, hopefully. It's another one shot for the Echoes of Family story looking at a day in the guard as Tempered.

    Good news and apologies.

So! Good news is the next chapter of She Drives Me Batty is almost done, and with the book released, I can make sure to focus and get you guys that. I do want to apologize for taking so long on it, though... The actual red tape behind getting the book out was hell on me these past two months. Writing the book? Not a problem. Fun as heck, but I've been stuck doing business and other stressful

    Cover Art!

So, folks, there's gonna be three last blogs on the book, I think... This one, one on release day, and one for when I get paperbacks, hardcovers, and the audiobook in order and out. As it turns out, the magic of digital printing means I can publish physical copies no sweat. I just need to look a bit more into them first.

    Trotting off to Trotcon

It's a bit of a last minute thing, but I'll be heading to Trotcon with a few friends of mine if anyone wants to consider meeting up. I'm likely to be spending a lot of time either looking to play Are You a Changeling or at whatever corner they're got for fanfic writing if they have one. Hit me up with a comment if you're curious about meeting and have any questions on Batty and where it's going.

Talons and Fangs Update: Delayed Release Date, Audio Is Mostly Recorded, and Snippets 2 · 6:02pm Jun 25th, 2022

Hey, all. I needed to extend to release date on Talons and Fangs by a month. Pro tip here, but if you write a real book, don't wait on getting the cover art. By the time I realized I needed it now, I could only give the artist a month to work on the cover art. Close as it was, the artist I picked was awesome enough to finish with some fantastic art just about in time, but there was also no time to correct a few... important things that needed correcting. The sketch I got--while absolutely fantastic--definitely needed to be a bit more modest given I have amazon saying the book is for YA 12+. So I'm doing what I can to fix that, and that partly involves extending the deadline so my artist isn't rushing like crazy to make the amazing art they gave me work.

Here's the obligatory link to preorder the Ebook here(link). And know that the Audible version is also on the way. Audio is recorded and in engineering. After that's finished, I'll be giving it a once over to approve it, and then I can work on getting the book out on audible.

Anyways, have some snippets! This one is a familiar face and now a pet to boot! Though with how Shadow's Reach works, gargoyle pets are much more independent.

Manny purred as he pushed his head into me and rubbed like his life depended on it. His paws and claws padded and pricked my chest as he kneaded me, and his tail flicked as he waggled his rump and arched his back.

I laughed at both seeing him and just how eager he was to say hello, reaching up to scratch right between his wings. They fluttered and flapped as he stepped forward to not only put more of his weight on my chest but to shift where I was scritching further back, and the butt-waggling intensified as he made sure I scritched all the way up the arch of his back to his vibrating backside.

When he had his fill, he pulled back to instead sit on his haunches upon my chest and smile at me, headbutting me one last time when it was clear I needed orders to mix things up with ear and mane scritches. Flicking his tail at the other cubs, he growled slightly and thumped me with his tail.

‘Mine.’ The message to the other cubs was crystal clear.
