Twilight Sparkle Improving Lives? (Friendship is Failure)

    People sure love to complain...

She always tries her best to get through to those with friendship problems and help them improve their lives, no matter how much they reject and act hostile towards her.

She gets disrespected a lot because she wants to help people, even though she's a princess who's saved Equestria on multiple occasions.

What will it Change? (Trying means Nothing!)

In relation to my previous blog, https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1035717/i-have-to-or-you-just-want-me-to which relates to "Are you doing it for ME or YOURSELF?"

People still get up my back saying I need to "Get Help" "Change my groove" or, and the most often said "Fix your writing-- make it better/different"

I HAVE to, or you just WANT me to?

People often go about saying... "You HAVE to move on." "You HAVE to let go." "You HAVE to Improve" "You HAVE to this" "You HAVE to that."

But here's the real deal to consider. Do I really HAVE to, or do you just WANT me to? That's the ideal.

The Show is over (Means nothing)

A lot of people have been getting up my back lately, all yakking at me the same thing.

The show ended (This many) years ago. Why are you still making stories if they no longer have purpose?

Idiots... that's not how it works.

Hero VS Good Person · 5:16am Jun 25th, 2022

Hmmm...

but also has them ignoring the numerous times she's saved Equestria from certain destruction and has gone out of her way to help many individuals time and time again.

Which can still mean... practically NOTHING to anyone.

In my personal view, being a Hero/Savior and being a Good/Decent Person are completely different things.

Let's start with Raven...

Yeah, she has saved people, and the world, and the galaxy many, many times... Whatever, that's just her job and obligation.

But domestically, she leaves much to be desires (And I'd say this is more her own choice than her being half-demon and all that jazz) She is very rude, snarky, discouraging, always making smart remarks about everyone, and she is especially horrid to Beast Boy who only tries to get her to lighten up. (She was already bad enough to him in the series, in Trouble in Tokyo, she is downright aggressive and physically beats him up)

No, she may be a hero, and she may have done her good deeds for the day, but in my view... at the end of the day, she is a very horrid person (Probably worse than the monsters and the bad guys she defeats), and her having Starfire, Robin, and Cyborg as friends, and a good home in Titan's Tower... it's way more than she deserves.

Mr Incredible...

He may be a well celebrated Super Hero, but he is the biggest example of a Jerk and an Idiot I have ever seen, and I'm not the only one who thinks so.

https://www.looper.com/254893/why-the-villain-of-the-incredibles-wasnt-actually-syndrome/

Almost anywhere he goes, he causes collateral damages, mostly due to his own carelessness and stupidity.

-Uprooting a tree and violently shaking it to get a cat down. (He could've just climbed the tree instead of uprooting it... killing it, but I guess the environment means nothing) and as if that weren't enough, he carelessly threw the tree into open traffic, hitting a car int he process.

-Then he saves a man who was trying to commit suicide (Injuring him in the process) leading the first of lawsuits that caused supers to get banned.

"Hey! I saved your life!"

"You didn't save my life! You ruined my death! That's what you did!"

While to me, this is rather debatable, but then again there does go an old saying

"No Good Deed goes Unpunished."

You try to help somebody, You do help somebody... and yet you suffer for it.

Now for Buddy Pine...

I am well aware he had bad ideas, and had no right to try to enforce himself on Mr. Incredible to try and be his sidekick and all that, but the fact remains that Mr. Incredible COULD HAVE and definitely SHOULD HAVE been more patient, more tolerant with Buddy from the start. He could have just had a heart-to-heart talk with him (Like a decent person should) and reason and civilly explain to him why he would not hire him.

Instead, what does he do... immediately ejects from his car and speeds off, and further bluntly and harshly tells the boy to get lost.

And while I am aware of Buddy's carelessness leading to that train accident, it could have been avoided if Mr. Incredible had talked with him from the start and made him see the truth instead of just bluntly ejecting him from the car.

(In my personal view, even if Buddy had not interfered... Supers would still have been sued due to Mr. Incredible own carelessness and don't forget the guy who's death he ruined... THAT started it all)

And then, even in civilian life he goes behind his own wife's back saying he's going bowling, when really he just wants to look for bad guys to bust to relive his own glory days, which nearly gets him in trouble with the law (Supers are not to be Super anymore)

Not to mention his stuck-up ways with insisting on "Working Alone" and refusing help from everyone, including his own wife, his kids, or even his best friends... which nearly cost him and his family their lives.

Then in the sequel movie, he's angered and jealous that his wife is chosen to represent a counter-suit for Supers, and he is flustered with family life, and even causing rifts between himself and his kids.

In my view... it doesn't matter if he learns from this. I already dub him irredeemable.

Super Hero... but terrible person.

And now for Twilight herself...

Yes, I don't deny, she has saved Equestria...

I also don't deny she has helped MANY others solve their problems...

Well, as a viewer... I do not like Twilight Sparkle, not even a bit. She can save my life for all I care and I will not show her the LEAST bit of gratitude.

You may be saying "She should just leave you to die then for being so ungrateful." unfortunately, she can't do that. As a hero she has an obligation to save everyone that she can regardless of personal conflict or differences. She herself may not like someone... She herself may not want to save that person, or feeling they don't deserve to be saved... she has no choice; she has to.

Also, a problem I have (Like many other viewers have shown) As the season progressed, Twilight became more and more unstable, ignorant, arrogant, blinded by optimism, and worse... I don't think her main reason for helping those with Friendship Problems is simply to better and improve their lives, but really...

Whenever she sees someone who's the least bit anti-friendship, she worries that it'll spread, and soon all creatures everywhere will start down the dark path which will lead to war and chaos-- while this could be a tad understandable, She's seriously making a horde of mountains out of a single molehill.

She also worries that her reputation as Princess of Friendship will be sullied. (Very lame excuse here)

Such things like this can lead her to being so relentless in attempt to harass others until they come to her way of thinking, disrupting the privacy of others and disrespecting their wishes, as well as misjudging some harmless situations (I said SOME... not ALL)

She may be trying to IMPROVE the subject's life, but what if she and the subject have VERY DIFFERENT IDEAS of "Improvement?"

She spends so much time figuring out ways that she CAN HELP... she didn't stop once to think if she SHOULD. (Just because something could be improved does not automatically mean it HAS to be)

Did she ever stop to think that maybe the subject did not ask for her help, nor do they want it because they don't like or want what she's selling them (Practically even things they swore they never wanted again)

And just as said about "Things don't have to be instantly improved."

EXMPLE:

Look at Stone Heart, (Times when he isn't evil) Just because he doesn't have/want friends nor is he achieving his dream job by choice, does not mean he has to do a 180. He has a job (Sometimes 3) he works, he is paid, he contributes, he pays his bills and taxes... you don't bother him, he won't bother you.

...That's all that's needed.

Maybe he could benefit if he turned his life around, but he has to WANT it, and he doesn't. Twilight cannot keep forcing it down his throat just because her reputation is on the line.

He can be fine just the way he is, and nothing more is needed from that. So in truth... maybe Twilight should just LAY OFF!!!

This also leads Twilight to making mistakes and errors in judgment that she REALLY should not make at all... not even on impulse.

-Lesson Zero: She had nothing to write to Celestia about Friendship and feared and panicked her "PERFECTION" would be ruined, instead of realizing what she learned "That a good friend, like Celestia, will understand." But no... she just digs herself deeper by causing trouble to simulate a friendship problem which nearly get her in deep trouble.

-Horse Play: Instead of being openly honest about Celestia's terrible acting, Twilight blows everything out of the way to hide it, and when she finally blurts it out... ohhhh... Celestia is rightfully hurt and disappointed because Twilight crapped on Friendship again just to save HER OWN reputation.

-Marks for Efforts (The absolute most disgusting of all) The way she bans the CMC from her school of friendship without giving them a chance to explain themselves or listen to evidence. ("Everyone makes mistakes" or "Nobody's perfect" will not cut it here) She didn't even have any RIGHT to make such an error when she's supposed TEACH that "You should always hear both sides of the story, and not judge so quickly." and she quite literally threw it all out the window in one shot.

Many of us believed Twilight was forgiven far too easily, and many of us prefer she get kicked for it. (I do especially) Why else would I and others have written alternate versions of Marks For Efforts where Twilight suffers for this BAFFLING BLUNDER.

Point is, sometimes... people are willing to disregard heroics and past good deeds, or simply never reward in the first place.

Sometimes, Twilight can just be far too overbearing with her obsession and paranoia when it comes to Friendship (So much... she loses sight of it)

But again... Being a Hero is one thing... being a Decent Person is QUITE another. (People can choose to disregard the goodness of you, or your heroics)

The suspect was found guilty of violating section 1105: HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE of Fanfiction of DakariKingMykan; in that she willingly butted in with other affairs in attempt to force friendship on someone.
(Knowingly Selling Narcotics to a Minor)
The penalty prescribed for such violation of said code... is imprisonment in the state prison from 10 years to life."

"Twilight Sparkle: Now serving her sentence in the State Penitentiary.

I agree that Twilight's a hypocrite. And WAY too unstable to be in a position of authority.

This is probably gonna be downvoted to Hell and back but do you know another good example of a hero who isn't a good person? Batman! The only reason Joker's still alive to kill thousands of people is because Bruce thinks killing even just ONE member of his rogues gallery who has probably orphaned countless children would make him no different from that mugger in Crime Alley. That's his only reason for not kiling the Joker. Not because it's the right thing to do or because the courts should handle it, it's because he's scared of becoming no different from the crazies he regularly fights.

Batman himself is actually a criminal (all super heroes are) They are practically interfering with police business and taking the law into their own hands (Both of which are actually illegal) The only reason they don't get busted is because the police need and rely on their help to do things they cannot.
