You ever take a second to look at your old fics and your old writing, and it just makes you cringe hard? Because I look at some of my old stories and I don't know what I was thinking. I was inexperienced and god just trying to attempt to read through some of them is rough at best. It's kind of interesting to see where I started vs where I'm at in my writing development and the comparisons are in fact quite a margin.
Anyone else go through this and if so got any specific reasons why your old work makes you cringe? For me it's my lack of description and the fact that everything seems super rushed. I took like no time getting to anything and it just came off as fast to me. So yeah that's mine, and it makes me cringe lol.
yeah my first ever story is pretty cringe and I made it back in January of this year. I improved in a small amount of time because I rushed my first story out quick lol
As someone who’s posted their first fanfic the moment they joined the sight, I’m also prone to cringing at my old work.
