Question to MHA Fans · 1:55am Jun 21st, 2022
I'm thinking about writing my first ever MHA fanfic that I plan to post on Fanfiction and want a second opinion on something.
I want to know that if Deku had a quirk that allowed him to produce a type of dark energy that he can use in a variety of ways, but had the draw back of making him prone to both anger and violence while he uses it, would Bakugou see him as a friend/rival, or would he hate him for having a "villainous" quirk?
You have to remember, it's KATSUKI BAKUGOU we're talking about here. And the world they live in, they judge the Quirk before the person. And being the egotistical @$$hole that he is, he'd do everything in his power to "Show Deku His Place" (notice the air-quotes) and "Kill him" (Again, air-quotes)
I agree with the above, but it also falls on the user. To limit and adapt to use it the best they can. There are loads of examples in the series that show control is what ultimately defines the quirk and the user. Shiro (brainwash when they answer a question quirk) everyone thought that his quirk was too good not to be a villain, but he strove to be a hero, and he gets to choose when he embraces he quirk or not. Another is Deku himself, without the first training he might have accidentally destroyed himself or a few blocks with a single move. Every quirk has the potential for good and evil, the real definition is how the user chooses to embrace it.
