Nice job, Sunny *slow clap* (Tell Your Tale Episode 14 Review) · 3:17am Jun 17th, 2022
BREAKING NEWS: Sunny Starscout, Alicorn savior of Equestrian Magic, pollutes beach with 1.5 tons of glitter microplastics, costing 2.2 Billion Bits in cleanup fees
Source: Tell Your Tale Episode 14
Glitter is extremely bad for the environment. They're non-biodegradable and are impossible to clean up. Fish ingest the plastic, causing them to suffer from health issues.
Now Mareitime Bay has to go through the second major town cleanup in less than a year. It's the price you pay for being the hometown of not one, but three main characters. Sunny must now foot the bill by deifying herself, setting up her own shrine, and accepting alms from travelling pilgrims. And you're wondering why she's so broke she needs to room with three other ponies at her age.
And worst of all, Hitch now shuns Sunny for life for littering and for dooming Mr. Crab to, quite literally, death by glitter.
Ten thousand crabs and fish died a painful death by glitter, so that Sunny could save a few pony foals from drowning. (Sidebar: Look at the GIF again. Why can't the foals at least TRY to run away from the water?) There's a definitely a trolley problem hidden here somewhere.
...and even don't get me started on that other episode glorifying dumpster diving. It's all fun and games until a parent calls Hasbro asking why their daughter is pulling rotten half-eaten chicken tendies out of the cafeteria trash can.
Or maybe it's special glitter that decomposes into fish food because of
writer lazinessmagicYou may be overthinking this.
It's just an undiscovered phase of ice that looks like glitter and is also very very close to its melting point
Actually there are two types of glitter, old glitter that is made out of mica (a mineral) and new glitter that is made out of plastic, let's hope is the old type and sunny just enlarged the bitch
Honestly, I’m less concerned about that and more concerned that her alicorn form looks ridiculous. Who cares about microplastics? It's all about that character design.
I'm laughing head over hoofs after reading this lol
so true smh
Maybe we can just hope that the glitter is made of biodegradable materials, or that marine scientists will not to be too angry tho.

Fun fact in the past glitter was made out of mica, a series of minerals that have a plasticky feel but are just rocks that can be eroded or turned into clay, bonus they do come in almost all color types or can be dyed since they are verry absorbant

Glitter made of mica: exists

Thanks for your tips.I wonder which one is better for party or something?

I'll go for biodegradable plastics, there's a reason they don't use rock glitter now days and it's the risk of developing silicosis since they are mostly silica
