So, in one of my previous blogs, I mentioned the fact that I'm planning a Danny Phantom fan fiction. I've started on it, although I haven't gotten far, only a bit into the beginning where Clockwork sees that the multiverse is beginning to take form. So, something I'm thinking of is some sort of new powers. There's been times where Danny gets a new power, like his Ghostly Wail and his Ice Powers that were dormant in the form of his ghost sense. But I'm trying to think of new powers, and I'm drawing a blank. I mean, I had an idea called Ecto-Vision, which lets you see ghosts even while they're invisible, but after rewatching the show a bit, ghosts can already see other ghosts when they're invisible, but normal people can't, so I decided to make Ecto-Vision into something that Danny's parents made, Ecto-Vision Goggles, similar to night vision goggles, but meant for seeing invisible ghosts. Anyway, could anyone help me think of some new powers? For one of the AU, I'm thinking of giving my OC Scorch, the son of Danny and Ember, a power that combines his father's Ghostly Wail with the music-based powers that his mother has.
How about a ability where he can turn others into half-ghost like himself?

Meh, it's not a bad idea, but it kind of messes with the origin of how he got ghost powers in the first place. It's basically turning half-ghosts into vampires
What if you make it where his parents re-created a portable ghost portal that is powered by his DNA?
Would something like that work?

Well, there are ghosts who can open portals between Earth and the Ghost Zone, the first one I can think of off the top of my head is Wulf, and he uses his claws to rip a hole between the two dimensions
True, and if I remember corectly, before Danny was born, Jack, Vlad, and Maddie worked on a prototype, and Vlad got his powers.🤔
Wait, what about the watchers, from the movie where he had to face off against his future evil self? Not only did they create portals, they literally traveled through time with other ghosts that was wearing a special pendent!🤔
Danny's Ghostly Wail+Embers musical talents=Ghostly Hypnosis: Ability to hypnotise all who here it (ghost and/or human) for a short time by singing a short melody with hypnotic suggestions😉

Yes, Jack accidentally poured Diet Cola into the portal's power source instead of ecto-purifier, which caused the accident that gave Vlad his powers. As for the future evil Danny, you're thinking Clockwork, the Observants/Watchers don't get involved in things, they're only meant to watch, but when action needs to be taken, they get Clockwork to step in, the Observants did nothing except put their faith in Clockwork, who is the master of time, and the time medallions were only used to keep people in time periods that weren't their own, when Dark Danny made it so Danny couldn't take off his time medallion, that meant he couldn't leave the future. When he was able to get the medallion off, he could return to his own time

Cryo Wail: Combo of Ghostly Wail and Ice Power
Ecto Weapons: Ability to create solid weapons with Ecto energy (Might have better luck with ice powers too though)
And Cryo Armor: Ability to create armor out of ice
