    Dropping writing

I'm about to fucking leave this shit behind. After Council is fully posted, I won't write a single word. It's just all pointless. For what, that 30 upvotes? Please. I'm a relic of the past, that thinks he can make it with his relic-of-the-past stories. I just won't bother. I'll just walk off the stage, thank you.
There is no shame in admitting defeat when you're beaten, innit?

Progress update - what is to come

Hello to everyone reading this (all five of you, yes)!

If you've been wondering about the radio silence recently, and thought I abandoned what I was writing, then I have some good news: My story focusing on Luna and Celestia is almost complete. (I'd say, the manuscript is 95% written). The way I put that (the absence of "Princess", and also, the order of their names) is on purpose.

2022

Anniversary · 8:43pm May 20th, 2022

As of today I've been a part of Fimfiction for one year. I'm kind of a latecomer, yes, but I only felt so inspired last year to actually make an account, and start publishing stories. I hope that inspiration won't wane, and I'll be here in the years to come.
If you came here, you might as well read some statistics. In one year, I have:

  • Published 29 360 words, spanning 6 stories
  • Wrote 4 blogposts (including this one)
  • Accumulated 28 followers
  • Gave at least a little amount of good time to an indeterminate amount of people
  • Probably also pissed off some (hopefully less than the number in the previous point)
  • Made a fool of myself at least once
  • Realized I am SO late to the fanfiction scene, that it's not even funny

As for the future, well, of course, expect more stories, my dear followers. I'm still in the process of writing my magnum opus, a novel-length story about the royal guard Sword Glitter. ETA on that story have been pushed to late summer, earliest, so don't hold your breath. Sadly, I can't hold my own "first half of 2022" estimate, due to a bunch of IRL things.
But don't worry, things are chugging along. Pfc. Glitter here can confirm it.

Guardsmares are good mares; can't wait

Kind stranger who stumbled upon this blogpost: well whoa, you're the first to ever comment on a blog of mine, so you just unlocked some achievement I guess. You just got 10 fimficscore.
But seriously, I'm happy me, some rando, got a comment.
Secondly, I'm flattered by your interest, and I'll work hard to deliver.
Cheers!
