So, my supervisor at work had quit. Got a better job elsewhere and just up and left us. Naturally, of course, that means that things are going to shit. That we've had an influx of additional orders on a daily basis (likely due to the upcoming big racing event) hasn't helped things. I've already been asked to come in early. I suspect that I'll be asked to work on my days off as well. This will, I'm certain, continue for the foreseeable future.
Needless to say, this is going to delay progress.
I hate my life. Just saying.

Me too. It's gonna be forever before we get another new supervisor...and guess who has to shoulder the burden until they come?

I hope that big racing event ends as soon as possible and that somehow a new supervisor takes much less than forever to be found.
And while I know this helps little with your situation, just know that we here understand.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Thankfully, management has acted to make sure that we aren't overwhelmed for the time being, but still, things will likely be crazy for a while.
