A rather late update because of graduation · 7:40pm May 15th, 2022

Hellooooooooo.

Sorry about not doing much these last few months. Between looking for a new job, writing, and finishing up my master's degree in applied psychology, I was pretty busy for quite a while. The good news? I graduated! You know what that means!

Yep, my fiancee/editor bought me a light-saber! Why? Because I'm a master of course! And the puns are strong with this one! If only I had graduated on May 4th.

But yes, I am done with my master's program, am going to hopefully be moving to a new apartment by the time fall comes around, and should now have at least a bit more time to write and all that jazz. Good news is I currently have three stories in editing, three ongoing, and one hopefully close to being completed! So to make up for missing the last two monthly updates, I'm going to give a little sneak peak of my next new story, which will also be my first G5 story as well. Enjoy.

Story sneak peak:
Shining Star groaned loudly and plopped down again, her bright blue saddle bags jingling slightly at the motion. Out of habit she gently adjusted her purple glasses. She was so close. She could see Maretime Bay just over the horizon, yet she had spent the last hour just pacing in circles around this small little pond.

Could anypony, wow that still felt satisfying to say and mean all three pony races, really blame her though for being stressed? Not only was she going into a town that only two weeks ago had been all earth ponies, and very paranoid ones at that, but she was going to meet a pony who had helped restore magic to Equestria! Real, genuine MAGIC! She was a hero in every sense of the word. All that before accounting for the fact that this pony was her own daughter.

A daughter who she hadn’t been able to interact with for nearly twenty years. A daughter who didn’t even know she existed. Who Star had watched grow up from afar. All because of one simple fact.

As if sensing her thought, blue magic swirled around her horn, gently winding its way up the curves of the bony protrusion with a gentle aura. It was captivating, like watching water filled with starlight flowing from within herself and taking physical form. It was something that Star had tried to do for her entire life without success. It was also the reason she couldn’t visit her daughter until now.

First; congrats on graduating. :pinkiehappy: Second: That sneak peek looks very interesting, Sunny's going to be meeting her mother huh, that's gonna me a meeting to remember.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if this might be related to the fact that Izzy and Sunny get along so well.
