I get that. The atmosphere is Hollow and no longer what it was. But then again very few sites remain the same. My suggestion is to stay with sites like deviantart for they do keep that stuff to a minimum or less.

Unlikely. Things have gone so downhill, pedophilia (aka foalcon) has become normalized on this site! Point out how messed up that is, and you're the bad guy. We'd need a lot more people willing to speak up against it, or the site staff to purge it, if we wanted to turn things around.
And even if the site staff banned pedophilia tomorrow: That by itself wouldn't fix the site's culture! Not tolerating pedophilia is far from enough to clean this site up.
