Subspace Army Tree Before Chapter 168

Here is the tree showing the officers' ranks in the Subspace Army before chapter 168. I advise to read the chapter first before seeing the image.

    "New" Story and New Group

I'm starting to write a new story, or not really. It will actually be a compilation of stories in the universe of UME. Tales From The Omniverse. More than a compilation, this is a group made by Cyrus Colter there. In this group, people will be able to post their Tales happening in UME's universes.

    Sizes Precision

With A Sweetie Dream Land's rewriting, I have changed some sizes.

As of the starts of A Sweetie Dream Land, Kirby was 20cm tall. A Waddle Dee is about 30cm, Dedede, about one meter, Meta Knight, over 30cm (maybe 35cm, not sure yet), and Sweetie Void, about 50cm.

By the time of The Forgotten Land, Kirby is 30cm tall, and Sweetie is about 60cm.

    Rewriting A Sweetie Dreamland

I'm going to start to rewrite A Sweetie Dreamland, essentially to change the verb tenses. I'm also going to change "Dreamland" to "Dream Land", maybe change a few lines here and there, and so on. I don't know how long it will take, but I think that I should be done before the end of February.

Time Patrol In F-Zero · 8:39pm May 11th, 2022

I was warned about time travelers in the F-Zero universe, among the pilots. I thought that it was alright. I could deal with them. The guys will be stuck in the present so this could be a minor drama easy to deal with. Or they could simply disappear with the future they came from and nobody would be the wiser (but learning about them would obviously lead Sweetie Belle to ask DD to bring them back and to bring back too the future they came from as an alternate universe like DD did with Silver's future).
And I found these guys. Phoenix and QQQ, the last two pilots in the list (number 40 and number 39 respectively).
But then, when I read their wiki pages, I read these two words: Time Patrol.
A freaking Time Patrol. As in a police that deals with anything threatening the timeline, most of them being criminals trying to rewrite it. And it seems that they also deal with beings threatening the universe itself because Deathborn was apparently in their sights when it is said nowhere that Deathborn is a time traveler (but it wouldn't be a surprise if he is).

So this leads me to wonder how they work. Apparently, they recruit one person from each centuries, and their agents simply use time travel to hunt their targets or investigate questionable events like, apparently again, the Great Accident from 3 years before F-Zero X. Phoenix (who is from the 29th century) even says that, after F-Zero GX, he intends to go to the 32th century to hunt a criminal there. But... couldn't he simply leave the guy to the Time Patrol from the 32th century? I mean, the Time Patrol doesn't exist in just a single point in time, right? Unless it is an organisation outside of time pretty much like the Time Kaioshin and her palace from Dragon Ball Xenoverse? I don't know, it seems to be part of the Galactic Federation since it uses the Federation's calendar (which is the Earth's calendar) to recruit.

But this especially leads me to wonder what this means for Sweetie Belle, and for the Time Patrol, with she being an anomaly that will cause the collapse of the whole timeline excepted the present she entered. Of course, the Time Patrol can't know she will be coming because they have no idea of what is happening outside of their universe, so they can't stop her. But then, what?

So, is there any nerd specialist of this time nonsense that could help me about this? Someone who watched enough Doctor Who or similar series to understand how such a situation would go?

Look, even stories that are primarily about time travel fall into this trap. Like in Megas XLR, where whatshername seems to think that fixing the time travel module is in any way urgent when the war she wants it to fight in is either far enough away temporally that it's not an issue or can just be reached at one second per second (possibly the former, and her dark timeline counterpart robotized themselves in order to pull the latter anyway).

If you want things to make sense, you're going to have to make them up because since when has Nintendo ever bothered?

True. And I quickly saw that the F-Zero story is full of silly stuff that doesn't make sense. Like, why are the ultimate powers of Light and Dark inside Championship belts for a racing competition? Why would Deathborn try to get the Belts the normal way instead of simply stealing it and killing everyone in his way? Seriously, that's, like, the syndrome of every single animes/games centering around sports and other forms of competitions, like Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokémon. The villain can't take over the world without winning a specific competition because shut up it's magic when it would be easier for the villain to just kill the hero with a knife or whatever monster or advanced technology they have and be done with it. At least, Ghetsis tried to do that but even him gave up when his team was defeated (excepted in Ultra Sun/Moon where he was smart enough to take a hostage even after his defeat).

This is clearly a story that I will have to rewrite from A to Z. Darn it, I'm an amateur writer and I'm putting in more work than professional ones. :ajbemused:

Meh,personally I blame two primary factors:
F-Zero Is legit among one of the Most UNDERRATED franchises of Nintendo.Literally Most people Know Only Falcon Because Of Smash.

And second simply is that F-Zero is Kinda Old and at the time most games do focused on gameplay rather that lore.sure this normally won’t be a problem, but As I said F-zero is underrated. Most people aren’t that interested in it anymore and thus neither is Nintendo.

The sad part?it wouldn’t even be that Hard to revive the franchise;Nintendo has tons of people who Know what they are doing and Can craft High Quality GOTY contenders. All that is needed Good and Proper Sequel + good marketing and Boom,F-zero reborn from the ashes but alas, that is unlikely to happen.

To be fair to Yugioh, the Puzzle explicitly has a bunch of powers that legitimately enforce some kind of game.

And to be fair to Ghetsis, what can a normal human actually do against Reshiram? He gives up because your Pokemon will eat him alive if he doesn't (in the original game; in B2W2 he straight-up has a mental breakdown).

That's about how I felt when I wrote my Saint's Row crossover. The people who wrote the series clearly didn't care about the game's timeline and focused on making the violent scenes more interesting. With each installment, the series became much more nonsensical. I had to really work to try and make my story make more sense than the chaos that was the canon.

5656786
The thing is, Saint's Row badly needed to be more than just a Grand Theft Auto clone. Then they realized that nobody even cares about the story in these games and decided to just get as silly as their corporate overlords would let them get away with, and then 20% sillier than that while nobody was looking. It doesn't have a coherent timeline for the same reason that Road Runner cartoons don't have a coherent timeline, and would benefit about as much.

Maybe give them something to deal with time space anomalies, after all they must have something to that with all the experience that come with time travel problems. and if not maybe Sweetie can hire them as consultans for any kind of problems that she will have with in the future :rainbowlaugh:

But I am more worried about the problem that you going to encounter when you go to Bayoneta world, the plot of the first game need that some of the main characters are in 2 (or more) places thanks to time travel and the 2nd one need that a antagonist/ally/villain that is dead in the present is alive but because is bring from the past, and after is send back to the past to close the circle of events of the first one( and I have no idea if the 3rd one will surprise us with another timetravel twist) :raritydespair:

By the way some combat data of capitan falcon just in case

Thanks. For Bayonetta, I thought about this and simply decided that Sweetie Belle will come some time after the games.
