So if you haven't noticed already, then you must know that I have two stories that I haven't touched in a while.
And while the Christmas themed book already has many plans that just take time to be put in fruition.
Octo Sparkles have been on the back-burner for a while now.
And the truth is, I am uncertain of what to do with that story. It has many great ideas behind it, but it lacks preparation on my part.
I went into that book on a whim since I was overwhelmed with ideas. But that also caused its downfall. I lacked a proper idea of what this book should be. At first I decided to do a amnesia type story again, but realized that, I already have done that and it makes little sense for me to it again.
Then I decided to an Action-adventure type story, but again I failed to see exactly what I want to do with the story.
In Twilight Scarlet, I know the beginning and end. I only need to write plethora of mini stories to fill in the blank.
In The Chef's..., I know the end, and made the beginning work somehow. Now I am speaking of experience, which allows me to make a lot of story really quickly.
In Mrs. Santa in have a whole plan set up. All I need to do in put that plan into fruition and gain the right mindset to do so.
But... Octo Sparkles has neither an end or beginning thought out. I have honestly no clue what to do with the story at the moment. And with Splatoon 3 just on the horizon. I fear that I have nothing to work with. So I am going to sadly put that story on indefinite Hiatus UNTIL I know what I am doing.
Which is going to take the right mind-set. But don't worry, I will work on that again. All I need is some time to work on a proper idea. But right now my plate is full. With Twilight Scarlet I am already mentally working on ideas for the second book. And The Chef's final book requires all my attention. Mrs. Santa will have to wait until Christmas is on the horizon.
