The reception has been very positive to my latest series... a reboot of a classic formula. I have a new set of story episodes in motion to follow, and I wanted to gauge how everyone felt so far. Like, how do you feel about Peter's circle of friends (the Loser Brigade)? Any idea who should be paired with Peter? Any idea what bad guys should be featured? How about good guys? Cameos in mind? I am loving this series. The Loser Brigade is a fascinating group (almost a Peter Parker harem), yet with all the interesting girls he’s gaining I can’t decide on an actual pairing yet. Kinda bouncing between Eris, Sunset, and Derpy (though Eris I feel has the best shot right now based off your writing: Sunset nearly blew her chance it feels (though it’s not impossible), and Eris is being an absolute adorable go getter). Also, if Equestian Twilight Sparkle is the Twilight Sparkle from your original Spiders and Magic series, it’d be awesome to see that Peter Parker interact with Peter from this current series. Though I’d save that meeting for if/when this current Peter gets absolutely owned or crushed by a villain, or something.
Honestly, I’m just looking forward to future episodes: I loved your original Spiders and Magic, and I’m loving this Ultimate series just as much. Keep up the amazing work! (Seriously, you write these characters so well. Keep it up, fellow Chronicler of the Multiverse!)

I am liking the story layout being Episodic. It gives us a good taste of life of Peter. Keep that up.

Now Onto pairings cuz I have 2 in mind.
1: Derpy. Cuz I would love for her to get a piece of the Pete. Plus she emits cute and bubbly energy that Peter needs to drive out the negative energy that is being shoved into him be the haters.
2: Sunset. Love Sunset so much and the two can bond of their mistakes and lean on each other for support. Plus it would be a good way to get Peter to interact with the Human 5 (Not counting Sunset) Plus she is the best.
As for Cameos. Stan Lee. He is always welcome around Spider-Man. She is just a ray of awesome. As for Villains. Hmmm..I got two. Green Goblin and Venom. Gobby cuz in all of the Spider-Man stuff I have see. Goblin is a tsunami of evil that takes Spider-Man everything he has to repel and keep at bay as he goes thru life. The ever constant laugh flying terror that has plagued Peter's life. Venom cuz that is a stain on Peter that can't wash away and it is always a thing he regrets letting take control of him. Also Deadpool cuz lulz.

Venom's always had a fun personality. It's just been buried in the shows by being more serious then he actually is.
So far, so good. Only three episodes in and there is still a lot of more ground to cover and build up. I'll just leave my thoughts and some potential concepts here.
The Loser Brigade
Sunset Shimmer - As I've said before, this one is my main route. They have so much in common with each other. So far at this point, they barely had any time to interact with each other alone because of other circumstances. Not to mention her friends, the Rainbooms, didn't get a good first impression of him nor do they or she fully trust his alter ego yet let alone know his identity. I just hope they get some proper development in future when there's not too much happening around them getting in the way. Since the next entry seems to be Friendship Games, I'm hoping there will be a Spider-Man/Daydream Shimmer team-up against Midnight Sparkle.
Trixie - I honesty don't ship her with Peter. I see their relationship as more platonic and reminiscent of the original Spiders and Magic. I do like that her bossy attitude towards Peter does slowly mellow out over time to show that she's not so bad once you get to know her. Maybe they could try and give it a go, but it would probably never work out for them. Especially if that Mysterio concept ever comes into play at some point. Could play the same way as that Vulture twist in Homecoming.
Ditzy Doo - My second choice. Though once I was informed that her character would be more reminiscent of Ursala from the Raimi Trilogy, I would say that I'm fine with that. I could see her being supportive of Peter's choice of love interest even if her puppy crush comes unrequited. Heck, I'd be surprised if she instead ended up with Flash of all people.
Aria Blaze - Started as an enemy, a reluctant enemy on Peter's part, and moves on to a path of redemption after cutting ties from Adagio and her ego and becoming Peter's appointed stoic counsellor. Since she's moving in with Peter and Aunt May, I could possibly see them adopting her as new family member. She deserves the chance of happiness that her other variant never got to have.
Eris - The newest member of the group so far, and the most mischievous and chaotic one. While I find her playful flirting with Peter funny, I don't see this going somewhere more serious. She is far too good for him, as well as too chaotic if I may add.
The Villains, Guest heroes and some potential concept story arcs

A interesting way I thought of introducing Electro into the storyline, and bringing Peter and Sunset closer to each other as well, would be the Anon-A-Miss storyline from the IDW Holiday Special, which is probably the most heartbreaking story that Sunset had to endure. Electro's character could be an amalgam of the 2003 MTV series, TASM2 and Spectacular Spider-Man incarnations. His transformation and descent into madness and anger would be the consequence of the CMC's actions in framing Sunset that it would make one or all of them realise too late that they went too far.
The Lizard and Fluttershy:

Just an idea of introducing The Lizard as a villain with Fluttershy given an important role, since her quirk is tied with animals and such. It could be one of many different stories for each member of the Rainbooms to get to know and interact with Spider-Man and Peter Parker at the same time, all while having their own personal plots involved.
Sandman, Pinkie Pie and Ms. Marvel:

Just like the previous, but with Sandman and Pinkie Pie having a personal role with Ms. Marvel making a guest appearance. Since Pinkie Pie's family is affiliated with rocks, I'd reckon Flint Marko could be a relative of hers in this setting, her uncle possibly. Also it would be nice for Spider-Man to team up with another rookie hero besides himself.
Scorpion

Don't have an artwork for this one, but Scorpion could be a villain I'd like to see at some point. An attempt made and funded by Jameson to prove Spider-Man is a menace and beat him, only to backfire on him when Scorpion goes crazy when he realises his suit is stuck on him permanently and then goes after Diamond Tiara to get back at Jameson.
Daredevil, Kingpin, Rainbow Dash and Gilda:

Again, like the previous two with Lizard and Sandman but introducing the Kingpin, Spider-Man teaming up with Daredevil and Rainbow Dash having a personal role with Gilda added to the mix. This would be an enlightening event for Rainbow to see Spider-Man in a different light in contrast to how she is harshly viewing him now.

Nightmare Moon as the villain and Spider-Man having to team up with Moon Knight and having to deal with his "Random Bulls***". Because why not? This one just sprang into my mind while watching the Disney+ series.
I do have a concept for an Edge of Time adaption. But it's far too soon for that to be shown here since Venom hasn't shown up yet and this is still early in Spider-Man's story and career. But I will say for a potential future story as an endgame finale could be a "No Way Home" inspired story with Peter teaming up with the original "Spiders and Magic" Peter (Spider-Guardian/Peter II) and the Peter from the "What If?" story (Spider-Knight/Peter III).
As for cameos, I'd like to see Miles Morales pop up here and there. Maybe build him up from just a minor cameo character into a major one once he finally gets his spider powers.

While I agree that the "Loser Brigade" moniker is a little bit harsh of a name, the characters in it I really like. Sunset and Trixie are a very fun combo (especially with a dash of Peter in the mix), and the episodic nature of this story really helps to keep things interesting.
Although I may be seeing things differently, I could definitely see Twilight going into the direction similar to Scarlet Witch in terms of her raw power and path? And we all know that Wallflower would be an interesting Antagonist for Peter to face.

1. I feel like the Loser Brigade is like the Pandora's Box. The feeling of what chaotic and crazy adventure will these group of friends have in school or during hero stuff. They're fun haha.
2. The sirens can really smell Peter's negative energy, sooo I believe he needs someone who can comfort and understand him in times of emotional distress. Fluttershy is very empathetic and kind
3. For good guys, how about a Daring Do and Spiderman team up vs Kraven the Hunter? Kraven could be like the Ahuizotl of Daring Do in Eauestria Girls. He's hunting for a magical doodad that Starswirl keeps dumping in Equestria Girls maybe.
4. Cameo: Good ol' JJJ visitng school for her nephew's show and tell. Imagine the chaos and hilarity when the Loser Brigade meets JJJ haha

For me I've said it before, I'll say it again, Trixie despite being arrogant has shown that she is capable of changing and genuinely cares about Peter. She deserves to be happy.
I absolutely love Sunset Shimmer and she’s my second choice for Peter to pair up with. However it doesn't look like she's ready for a relationship anytime soon. Not to mention that she keeps letting Rainbow Dash tall down on him. Calling him a loser and other things, which is really annoying.
I'd honestly like to see Kraven appear in the next episode or after the Friendship Games.

Maximus, PLEASE take this guys suggestions seriously and include them all!!! I follow him on DA and greatly approve of his ideas. They are well thought out and include many enjoyable twists (like with the Man-Spider thing).
As for a pairing, the slight harem thing from the original was alright, but I believe it should definitely be Sunset here. Largely due to these pics from the same guy who made these brilliant ideas:

I agree with Deadpool! His and Peter's ally/best friend/drive crazy guy/kinda ambiguous bromance is a HIGHLIGHT for the comics! Plus, Wade's a pretty okay guy once you get to know him. And if Peter and Sunset get together, I can see him and Eris
Maybe Max Steel from the 2013 reboot series? I think he and Steel might make a good match with Peter either as a cameo or a permanent addition to the brigade. (Plus I think some inter-dimensional shenanigans would be fun)

I'm really liking the stories you have. Kinda like your old Spiders and Magic series but now you're a much more experienced writer and are much better at building up tension and character interactions. Just remember this little interaction in the first Spider-man Raimi movie. (Norman: Your parents must be very proud.
Peter: I live with my aunt and uncle. They are proud)
Notice how unlike in a lot of other fanfictions, Peter doesn't take this opportunity to spew exposition about his parents' death like he's fishing for pity. He explains his situation and expects people to figure it out. Peter does show grief but I don't think he's ever wallowed in it. He's never acted like he's the only person who's lost someone. He doesn't snap at people trying to comfort him. He doesn't lash out. In fact, Spider-man has only ever used his grief as a way to relate to other people and to help them with loss.
A lot of times in fanfics like this, Peter throws out his whole life story in fits of rage like he's going "look at me! I've got such a hard life!" and the girl he's paired with goes "you poor thing! You're so strong to have gone through that!". Making it feel like she fell in love with him out of pity. Peter can grieve, but he can have more interactions with people other than grieving or joking. Your latest story is a great example of this.
Now, what else? Ah, the 'Loser Brigade'. I like the concept and the members for the most part. I feel like it could use more male members so it doesn't feel like a harem. I don't really care for Derpy/Ditzy because I don't like making big deals about background characters in general. I enjoy the occasional one-shot with them but anything more just seems to be making a mountain out of a molehill. She can be in the story but making her like the main love interest seems like a waste.
I would prefer Peter to be paired with Sunset. I don't know why but I always just really liked her character and feel like she should get more love in this fandom.
I have no complaints in this series at all except for maybe Eris. I just don't like the concept of her as just 'Discord but girl for fanservice'. You're totally free to disagree with me, however. It's your story.
As for any potential cameos and crossovers, Deadpool is always cool to see. But if you feel he's too rated R for this story, may I suggest the Fantastic Four? For being "Marvel's first family" and practically their version of Superman, it sure does feel like Marvel's pretending they don't exist. They could really use some love right now. Maybe Johnny Storm could even join the 'Loser Brigade' for more diversity.
I mean, it would be nice if Sunset's arrested character development at least net her a boyfriend.
To be honest though, at this point, Pete's a little too stuck in his own head to be able to give anyone much attention.
It's a big part of why him and Trixie becoming friends didn't really work for me, and why I wish Aria had started out trying to feed on Peter, instead of feeling guilty for him.
If I have to ship him with someone right now, it would be Eris. She has the patience to put up with his self obsession, and is clearly comfortable being the aggressor.

If we're talking EqG cameos, then Wallflower Blush is a must, with characters like Juniper Montage and Post Crush being a maybe.
The Cloudsdale trio or the Diamond Dogs could be really good bullies if you ever get tired of abusing poor Flash.
I'm Suri Polmare would love making fun of him from the sidelines.
And Spoiled Rich really should get some face time. Perhaps she tries to cash in on Spiderman endangering her precious Diamond.
As for crossover villains, having Osborne try to examine magic to see if it could be used for his own ends makes sense. Perhaps Oscorp has a Canterlot branch?
Not sure if you want to give the venom symbiote out to anyone in EqG verse, although I'm partial to Juniper Montage; since she's athletic and driven, with a jealous streak to boot, but with enough ability to feel remorse that you could go the vigilante route if you really wanted to.
Any main MLP villian would probably work as a generic bad guy, with the exception of Cozy Glow; who is more of a social ally or frenemy than anything else.
I have to start by saying I’ve been loving this new Ultimate Spiders and Magic reboot. Not that I didn’t love the old one but the way that you have captured the essence of your original story but changed it from to separate worlds with dimension hopping to a fully fused world is amazing (Spider-Man).
As for the Loser Brigade they are Perfect for Peter. Having the characters that are usually pushed to the side (but still are popular with the fandom) fits well with him. I actually like this idea that the Mane 6 who usually are the main characters or friends in these type of stories are included but have been pushed to become the background characters and the others brought forward.
So far the Loser Brigade is made up only of MLP characters (minus Peter) so it would be interesting to include some Marvel characters to the group who have moved to Canterlot. Maybe someone like Ned Leeds (Like his movie counterpart) adding another boy to the group and what about some other teenage superheroes also moving there maybe Doreen Green the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl or Ava Ayala the White Tiger or even Kamala Khan, Ms Marvel. All these characters would fit perfectly into the Loser Brigade.
As for Peter’s love interest I have to go with Sunset Shimmer. Not only because she is my favourite out of the group but also it works in tangent with the idea of the original. My Little Pony is mainly a story about Twilight, yes her friends are a major part but it always comes back to Twilight. So it was fitting for Peter to end up with her. So when you look at Equestria Girls Sunset Shimmer is the Twilight of the series with her being the main focus, making her the perfect fit in this ‘mirror’ of your previous story.
As for bad guys the ideas that other people have been coming up with are great, yes seeing Kraven, Elctro or Morbius would be fantastic, but with this world being a blend of Marvel and MLP I think that it would be good to see some human (or at least human like) version of MLP villains. Now the ones I were thinking of are a bit obscure, having only been in the comics but I feel that they could make an interesting villain team for Spider-Man and even some of his friends to verse. So the team is called the Knights of Harmony (https://www.derpibooru.org/images/2738526) and they appeared in the ‘Season 10’ comics. In this verse they could be a secret group of mutants or Inhumans from a group that was formed when either when Seth was first causing Chaos or when Starswirl was dumping stuff on the planet (you could even have it they have had run ins with the Sirens in the past) and now with everything going on in Canterlot they have set their sites there to deal with it. (Also just realised after writing this that there is six of them in the group so could form a MLP version. Of the Sinister 6)
As for Hero cameos I would like to see more of what you did with Spitfire and having MLP characters fill in roles of Marvel characters. Other than those I would like to see Lockjaw (he could almost be a replacement for the other Peter’s pet Ursa Minor). Also if you did a Halloween type story having Blade, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing and even potentially Ghost Rider would be cool.
Now to end this really long note the one idea I can picture more as an endgame type story would be some kind of Spider-Verse story. This allows your original Peter to be involved but to also include new alternative Spider people.

It is tough to pick who he should be paired with because he fits so well with all of them, but I think Sunset Shimmer needs it the most. Especially if Peter will stay by her side during the Anno-Miss bull crap.
As for villains I would love to see Mystique. She could be scouting out Peter under the alias of Chrysislis for the brotherhood. However much like her 616 counterpart she is also working for just about everyone and tips off Dr. Stranger’s enemies about Sunset. Plus Fury wouldn’t be happy if she was sniffing around.
As for other heroes I would recommend bringing in Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm just after they have gotten their powers. The F4 are in town for reasons and they have an adventure with Peter. Plus Johnny is Peter’s best friend in costume. Other heroes I would like to see are Shadowcat, Ice Man, and Firestar.
The stories are progressing great an the group of friends parker has is amazing group like his counter part in the equestria universe. And new lines create opportunities for villains who r plotting to rise.

Applejack is the element of honesty and with her understanding of people shell find what is hurting peter and would open her heart to him especially in his dark times when he's spider-man. Plus she reminds me of Gwen Stacy.
The villain who should appear it would be Kraven the hunter he rarely has his thrill of hunts but with him in Equestria girls ill say hell have a thrill of a hunt for spider-man and a creature that’ll come through from Equestria. Hero to appear in the story would be Ms.Marvel. She transfer to canterlot high to start new life after her mishap with terrigen. Her lack of control of her elasticity and her being in peters friend group would make a good addition to the group.
Cameo im itching to see like a small cameo of adagio having a chat with martin lee. As they tlk they share come goals. Common enemies.. but most importantly their hatred towards Spider-man. And this would lead to a dynamic villain duo to form in future spider story.

I like them. It’s nice to see Peter having some stability, and the quirkiness of the characters picked makes it better. I wouldn’t mind Cindy Moon joining them, though as just a sibling-like figure instead of a potential romantic partner. Or Flash Sentry so Peter has a guy to talk to.

I’m down for any member of the rogues gallery. Though personally I wouldn’t mind Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom and Carnage showing up and retaining their comic identities instead of being MLP composites. As for MLP antagonists, perhaps Sombra as another magic threat Strange monitors.
My other idea for a villain appearance is Kraven during Legends of the Everfree, it’d be in his element and a distraction for Peter while the Rainbooms tend to the actual threat.
Peter also needs a crime lord nemesis since he’s on the streets, like Tombstone as Canterlot’s kingpin.

I think Peter's friends are great, it's a nice group to have. Sunset and Peter have good chemistry together, Trixie is fun as per typical, Ditzy is cute as a button and Aria maintains a great balance. Wouldn't mind seeing more of it, or seeing it potentially grow but it seems to be fine the way it is, maybe just a tad bit more screen time, really show off their relationship and how close they all are. I heard you planned to give them a spin-off of sorts, and that's a great idea, because seeing their chemistry with each other is just as important.
I've already discussed Eris and I have made my opinion clear on her. I do not like her much, she gives me OC vibes even if she's just meant to be a female Discord, while also being his daughter. I'm not saying you should remove her from future stories, you seem to like her and I wouldn't want you to stop writing what you like, but I am just giving my opinion. Honestly if she stayed in the background for the most part and was not paired with Peter in any way, then she's good. Until then, I'll do my best not to bring up my dislike of her again.
Far as ships go...
Sunset is a top choice given that this is an Equestria Girls timeline, and she's basically the main character of that, so Peter being paired with her feels like the perfect mirror to the mainline S&M.
Trixie is a good second, I think they'd make a cute pair, they really bounce off each other well and Peter definitely keeps her humble while she can keep Peter in an upright mood.
Ditsy is one that kind of came out of nowhere but it's cute in it's own way. A girl who was basically an outcast is now part of a friend group and Peter makes her feel special when hardly anyone else did. Out of all the pairing ideas, this one feels the most wholesome and it's one I want to see grow more.
Aria feels more like a friend than anything more. Right now I can't see her with Peter unless something happens as their story continues.
Sweetie Belle seemed teased at one point, but I doubt anything's gonna come from that. Still, it'd be a nice potential couple idea too, I think the two can work well together.
Twilight Sparkle, truthfully, I am way more biased toward since it helped get me into Spiders and Magic. I do agree though that different universe should mean different pairing, so while I'm not against SpiderTwi' return, trying something new could allow for more story potential. Just, if this doesn't work out, don't pair Twilight with some lame-O, or any of the other girls for that matter.
Fluttershy is another good paring and I kind of want to see it happen.
For good guys, I am hoping to see Daredevil, Firestar, The Human Torch, Iceman and Gambit at some point. Hey if you can somehow feature The Guardians of the Galaxy then I'd be down with that. Though I get they might be troubling but still, it'd be awesome. Oh, and maybe an appearance from X-23.
For villains, Electro, Sandman, Shocker, Venom, Mysterio, all great choices. Whether you go with the actual canon versions or you use MLP characters in their place is up to you.
One thing I am almost expecting, as I've said a million times, is the idea of Mr. Negative showing up and possibly influencing The Dazzlings. IDK if you planned for that, obviously you don't need to say if you did, but I figured I'd throw it out there one more time.
While she's not a villain per say, I am hoping to see Lightning Dust as well, she has potential as a rival to Peter, maybe wishing she was a hero like Spider-Man, but going about it all wrong and ending up causing more harm than good.
Then there's Cozy Glow, and all the potential she can have
For cameos on the Marvel side, hoping to see Gwen Stacy eventually, along with Harry Osborn and Mary-Jane Watson. Seeing the MLP main group of friends interacting with the Spider-Man group of friends would definitely be a treat.
Then there's Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth, he is bound to appear and have his big moment interacting with Pinkie Pie, and trying to basically hog all the attention for himself. Deadpool would be a treat to feature.
For cameos on the MLP side, I'm personally hoping for Rumble. I also would not mind seeing Starlight at some point. Random as this might sound, I'd be keen on seeing Autumn Blaze as well, someone who talks as much if not more than Peter. Even Tempest might make a good cameo as well.
