Pegasus Ponderings: Mr. Cake's Favorite Sweet or Confectionary? · 6:35pm Apr 25th, 2022

What sort of sweet or confectionery would Mr. Cake find irresistable?

I'm sure being a baker with a sweet tooth would require a lot of self control, but what sort of sweet or confectionary would Mr. Cake be unable to resist? What kind of treat would he guiltily sneak a piece or two for himself despite it being made for a customer's order?

Is he a double dark chocolate swirl cupcake kind of guy? Or are his tastes old fashioned where he can't turn down a delicious peppermint or black liquorice sweet? Does he have a soft spot for a specific fruit flavor? Or maybe it's a particular dish that is only made once a year for a specific celebration that he absolutely can not turn down?

What are everyone's thoughts?

I think he is rather old fashion in tastes, and probably got long been sick of eating regular sweets foods, like chocolate, with his job as a baker he would probably be looking for for something that is either more bitter or bland then normal or has an unusual texture. The obvious would be his name sake, but he can make it when ever he wants to, so you can't bait him with that. I would say thoffy candy would be a good bet, it's a classic has a nearly infinite verity, it's soft and easy to chew and it's usually wrap in wax paper so there that nostalgic feeling to it. For something more bland and just something to munch on and shouldn't affect his slender figure tea basket, or baby crackers could be a good option for him. I would guess his supplier would be from Bon Bon and her shop.

My go to candy is always anything gummy if that could interest you.

I guess it makes sense that he'd get sick of most sweets if he's working with cakes and chocolates all day so toffee sounds like it has a fun angle to it. The fact that he can't just make it himself as easily as say a carrot cake or brownie also helps and I love the added nostalgic part as well! He's probably a well known patron at Bon Bon's shop!

And for me, it's tough to pin down a favorite, but anything with a chocolate truffle or mousse in it is always delicious!
