Concept scene for a possible story · 3:31am Apr 20th, 2022
So I’ve basically just had a wave of inspiration for several new stories. Fuck me. Anyway, here’s a possible concept scene for one of them. This one is based on the Pocket Ponies mobile game (with my own spin, of course).
But yeah, I’ll get more into these stories later. Enjoy the concept scene.
The School roared in excitement, watching as Gallus threw out his figurine. From the plastic emerged a glorious rainbow mane as a Rainbow Dash manifested.
“Incredible!” Rainbow herself called from the spectator booth. “Pegasi have an advantage over unicorns!”
Applejack chuckled. “Hold yourself together, Dashie. I don’t doubt Yona has a way to counter this play.”
Yona looked up, before calling her current piece back. The piece, a Rarity, did a quick lunge into the air, it’s projected form returning to the piece, which itself landed beside Yona. Gallus chuckled.
“You all outta tricks?” He mocked.
Yona scowled. “Yona not outta tricks! Yona have all tricks!” Yona looked down, picking up another piece. She looked up, before throwing the piece.
Before their eyes, a Rockhoof projection emerged, slamming onto the ground.
The Rainbow gasped. “By the Goddess, is she crazy?!” Rainbow cried. “An earth pony against a pegasus?!”
“Now hold on there, Yona’s gotta have an idea with this.”
“I sure hope so. She’s down one piece.”
Gallus looked at Yona. Behind that big meat head on her’s was a brain of some kind. He shook his head. “Dive bomb!”
Upon hearing the command, Rainbow Dash dived towards Rockhoof.
Yona smiled. This was exactly what she needed.
“Rockhoof! Counter!”
Almost immediately, the Rockhoof raised his shovel. The Rainbow Dash collided face first into the head of the shovel. The Rockhoof then did a one-eighty, kicking the Rainbow. The crowd watch as, much like a tennis ball, the Rainbow flew out of the arena. As soon as she crossed the magic barrier, the projection disintegrated, turning back into a normal piece. The crowd watched as the piece bounced across the floor. The arena soon erupted in cheer.
“Holy crap, an arena knockout!” Rainbow cried.
“We haven’t had one of those in a while, eh?” Applejack chuckled.
