AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH. Her bare form is completely done! I think she came out kinda purdy!! Now I just need to add clothes and a simple background before the piece itself is complete. So this’ll be the last ‘preview’ of sorts. While she herself is ‘final,’ next post will be the final final hehe.
As with last time, I can’t post full picture because she actually is naked as fuck lmao and the mods don’t like that in blog posts. So as with last time, if you wanna see her in her uhhhhh “full form,” just PM me directly

That's actually not uncommon--I find that too when I commission art, and I give the artist all the colors and stuff... the sketch will look amazing, and then the line art even better. Once the colors added in, sometimes--even though it looks wonderful--the color just doesn't seem to do the justice that the line art did. I've had this on many many occasions lol. While I personally think her color here more than adds to it (more than happy to disagree, each to their own after all), all that to say, I completely understand exactly what you mean lol

I love the color. It's different than what I envisioned but I always have that vision of Stella with her grey coat so I jist fill in the blanks in my head assuming shared family traits, forgetting that Equestria follows no such logic. Pie and Apple familys being prime examples.
As to color feeling like it doesn't do lineart justice, I think it's another case of mental fill in the blanks. You start to envision what it will look like, and sometimes, even if the art is your own, it doesn't match your preconceived notion. I find that I can even subtly remember the color of a familiar object slightly differently than reality.

Thank you!! And GOD did that part of the show irritate me lmao. I’ve been guilty of accidentally making Sveta gray coated in my head even though I’ve established her color scheme above lol. Also, Vampir has that coat color and eye color, so Sveta inherited that from their father :D
