Hey all, completely forgot to give my update here after i did one on Discord a week or so back.
Chapter 186 is coming along. It's going to be on the longer side though so it might take me a little while.
You may have noticed that my pace really hasn't picked back up at all. I'm going to be completely honest with you all, writing really hasn't been at the top of my to do list as of late, nor has motivation been very high for the story. I am, by no means, considering abandoning the story, but at this particular moment I'm not very focused on it. I got a lot of things on my mind right now about my life (No Zol, its not Elden Ring) and sometimes im just dead tired by the end of the day after work and thinking about it so much.
I'm going to be real, this is how it has been for a while. My original personal motivation level to write here has been long gone for quite a while, but then why am i still going on it? Thank yourselves for that. Knowing that i still have a reader base here thats excited for updates is whats really kept me going this long. And I definitely do still have plenty of fun when i do sit myself down and get some work done on it. Entertaining people and telling a story have always been my two highest priorities, so as long as those two things are still present for me, it will keep going.
So... tl:dr... thanks for keeping me in the game here. I might be slowing down, but im still here and will keep being here thanks to you all. Heres hoping i can make some good progress and get the next chapter out to you soon.

Yeah, I understand that. Which is why I started writing multiple stories, as a way to keep myself invested and not burn out by writing on the same story for so long. Life also gets in the way a lot, every time I try to write I end up falling asleep since I tend to wake up very early for work. :(
Personally I prefer a well written story than a rushed one, so take your time to relax and enjoy life.
Of course I would be lying if I say that I wont be a bit sad for the slow releases but I believe its better for the writer to finish at his own pace.
Hopefully you finish this story however you wanted and not unfinished and abandoned like others fanfics in this site that were soo good but the Authors just didn't have the motivation to continue and just left without any notice or announcement of retiring from the FimFiction scene, IF you ever do want to stop... at least tell us in advance so we can come to terms that the story wont continue, hopefully that wont be the case. Also if you plan to write original stories tell us where to read them and support you.

the plan is to finish this story. i dont intent to just let it go after investing so much time into it. It would feel like more of a waste not to after all this time.
Totally understand moving passions! Calm, I cant thank you enough for keeping up with this, despite not feeling it for the site anymore. Seriously, its awesome. One of the best stories in pony fandom, and I will be here till the end and after!
Hey king thanks for continuing it even if you might not feel it here anymore. I get it because it really has been so long since this fic started, I was in high school when I started it, I alwaaaays got really excited for updates, Kyan Ost theories, and such. Now I'm in university in the US, and making steps in my career, so, not even the same country or stage of life !! But I always came back to this whenever it updates and read, even if I don’t have time to leave a comment. I just wanted to let you know that I've been here from a very long time, and I admire that you’re still pushing through, and that there's still so many people like me who get their email update and always read :)
