Let this be a lesson to all the anti-TCB writers who think humans being mutated into ponies to save their lives was part of an evil scheme by Celestia.
If Celestia was ACTUALLY doing the 'turn humans into ponies to have them as brainwashed minions' thing... she wouldn't need to hide behind a wall of BS about it.

Our Earth and Equestria's universes crash into each other, causing them to overlap. Except it turns out magic is deadly to humans, and it's spreading. So becoming creatures of Equestria is our only option for survival. Sadly, so many fans gushed about how much "better" being ponies would be, that an overwhelming majority of the fanbase decided to write Equestria as doing it on purpose to conquer Earth for whatever reason, and getting crushed by the might of superior humans and their superior firepower and ponies mindlessly using tactics abandoned since WW1.
