Hello everypony,
I'm working on about chapter 43-ish at the time of making this blog post with the first 12+1 published. I'm much happier with how things have gone after unpublishing and fixing some of the things I had issues with. I have a decent idea of the path from Chapter 43 to Chapter 85, and everything afterwards has been planned out precisely up to the epilogue.
In total, the story is planned to be 140 chapters long, with 1 prologue (duh) and 8-ish epilogues to expand upon the world (and setup the sequel). Speaking of which, I have a sequel planned, but that is still in the rough stages of development and needs a lot of ironing out. Also, you know, I need to finish the prequel before I even consider that further than the setup. I know nobody cares about this story right now except for the five or so fans, but I'm not going to let that stop me from blogging at 4 in the morning because I feel like it and can't get to sleep.
I don't exactly have a release schedule for the chapters. If I like how a chapter is, I'd probably publish it a day after previous chapters if I'm not being lazy (example: I'm fine with Chapters 16 to 20, but I'm being held up by 13, 14, and 15 which I'm editing for the ninth time this year).
I also put together a few of the color schemes for the characters in the series, although I still haven't put together the color scheme for the 'Queen's Guard'. Maybe I'll get around to that... in a month?
