Four years ago, I became a FiMFiction.net member on March 17^th. On the same day, I published a story I had been working on since the middle of 2017. It was meant to be a swansong to the Friendship is Magic TV series, which at the time was rumoured to be coming to an end. I forget what my original sources of inspiration were, the exact story I planned on telling, and because of that sense of being directionless, I eventually decided to put that story on hiatus, before removing it from public view.

As of today, I have deleted it.

But for those of you who'd placed it in their digital bookshelves, or think I've lost all hope, don't fear! After the diligence and support of so many friends, artists and editors, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, it will return. Bigger and better than ever. Less bloat, less purple prose, a greater sense of direction and purpose, without compromising the pacing. And to top it all off, custom art for every single chapter.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and people of all genders, I re-present to you:

Once upon a time in the middle of nowhere, in an age without the Sisters, Love or Magic, a young mare wakes from the depths of a terrible dream. Her days are long. Her nights are longer. They blend together from dusk to dawn – over and over, always the same.
But little does she know, this morning will be unlike any other.
This morning, her life will change forever.

Act 1 of this adventure-drama will be published on May 5^th, a reverse birthday gift from me to the community. I understand the HiE genre doesn't appeal to everyone, but I hope most fans will give it a chance, and even though this is technically a My Little Pony story, I've written it with people unfamiliar with the show in mind.

I look forward to its final release.
