Progress Log: March, 26th 1:41 PM

Wow, another huge milestone. With my second progress report too!

General Greeting

So, people that have known about my project are aware that Pinkie is a staple in this story, yeah? You know, Pinkie Pie that is voiced by Andrea Libman? I'm sure everyone here knows what I'm talking about. A few people have been asking why I'm getting voice actors and how I'm going to handle Pinkie for the comic dubs. Well, as long as I keep it PG (Which why would I not?) Pinkie is going to be pretty dang canon. Hint, hint. No, that's all you get for now. Can't spoil the surprise. As for my last update the U.S. Copyright Office is being annoying and so now I have to wait for an email reply to finish my progress. We all know how these things go. The government is VERY slow. Concept art of Mena is halfway done, all that is left are expressions. Cosmos's theme will be started on Wednesday so have patience, I almost have all the infinity stones.

To do list: March 25th through the 28th

Concept Art: Mena's expressions are still being done by three people. Cosmos's realm (similar to Avatar's Pandora) is still being drawn by two artists who will be creating concept designs based on old art and new ideas. There will be a castle (not sure about the design) where Pinkie and the others will be for the majority of the story. There will be floating islands, flower vales that go on for miles, several moons in the sky...some very appealing art for the eyes. So much so, Aphrodite may be floating around in there somewhere. Mena's room and Cosmos's room are being discussed, Chrysalis and Pinkie would be next. Not sure where I want them in the castle. I have a feeling Mena needs to be in a tower. I mean come on...she's a sorcerer with a wyvern. What kind of sorcerer doesn't live in a tower?

Sound Effects: Pinkamena and Cosmos's VA are still under wraps, possibly changed or swapped. Mena still needs sounds for her own magic, mostly fire related while Cosmos makes the sound of Squidward every time she walks on polished marble floor. (Yes I'm serious, it's Cosmos.) Aphrodite needs a VA as well, since she is more like the voice of reason and the encouragement. Cosmos and Aphrodite go way back, as in Cosmos was trapped within the cosmos (snicker) for a thousand years and Aphrodite kept her company as she complained. During that time of boredom they created a dimension which is where Aphrodite may or may not reside instead of Olympus. Why doesn't Aphrodite want to be near the throne of Zeus? Dunno, seems kinda fishy doesn't it. Both of them need sound effects as well. Aphrodite's is more like...a fairy? That's the best way I can describe it. Edit, forgot to mention, Coeus sounds like Mufasa. That is all I'm gonna say.

Research: Concept designs for Aphrodite. I would like to avoid pink. Pinkie, Pinkamena, and Cosmos already have a form of pink so I need to stay completely away from it. I'm thinking a bit of amber to match her monarch butterfly wing-style. Perhaps a braid...? Or something related to the swan? (Her animal.) I also need to do research on castles. There are so many castles in this story...Coeus has a castle, Chrysalis has a castle, Cosmos has a castle, Celestia has a castle. So many castles. Even Asmodeus has a castle. It's an ugly castle because demons can't collaborate on anything and are bad at teamwork...but it is a castle. Made of bone...and rock...and...
