I, Raven Wrap Up · 1:52am Mar 17th, 2022
Thank you to all the, WOW I now have more than a hundred followers... How did that happen?! Sweeeeeet.
So, what to say about this story? First of all, it was damn fun to write and much like Gods and Monsters and Discord Day the words just flooooowed. I never felt at any point that I was struggling to get through. I had an idea of what I wanted to happen and mostly stuck tot he script. The ultimate goal was to have the proposal finally happen and for Raven to get a body. That was critical for what comes next. More on that in a minute.
The two biggest things that changed from the original outline I wrote were the sex scenes and the meeting with Sunrise and Shining.
While I never struggled to write the sex scenes, I did debate heavily on "how far they should go?" Why did Sunset go down on Gauge when she was planning to go shopping for an engagement gift later that day? The long and short of it was because Sunset in her mind and heart can separate the difference between love and lust. She is very Alpha, how she sees herself. And at that early morning moment, naked, horny, she just wanted to see what his full extent looked like while also partially fulfilling her own fantasy. Why was Tempest okay with it? She wasn't really.
But she had no desire to challenge a princess on the matter. Now, if Sunset had been just Lady Sunset and not coronated. Oh, there would have been some fighting going on.
Now, I debated, however briefly, having the four of them have a group session after they got back from Mount Havok, but ultimately overruled it because I could not see Tempest enjoying that and both couples had eyes only for their others at that point.
The epilogue scene with Sunrise Flash and Shining Sunlight was COMPLETELY last minute and was a direct result of people's comments asking for a little closure to Sunset's family. It did not take long to think about or how I wanted it to go, but yes, I read the comments and take them to heart where I can. So, thank you all for reading!
Now, what comes next.
I, at this moment have seven chapters of Alpha and Omega written with the eighth being worked on. Considering I have no idea how long this story will run I want to get at least ten done before I begin releasing. That SHOULD give me enough buffer if I hit a snag. Since the story is a two part piece, if I need to have a release gap after the first part wraps I can do so and it not feel out of place. I like how things are shaping up, I can only hope people will like it too. To quote Chuck, from Supernatural: "Endings are hard. There are always loose threads, you can never make everyone happy." I know it won't make everyone happy, but I am hoping it will at LEAST make everyone feel satisfied at the end. I guess we'll see.
Thank you again for taking this journey with me.
It has been a fun ride so far! Keep it going.
