I'm a bit late on this, but ScarletWeather is in need of some assistance and is offering her services to authors! Like the title suggests, this involves an all-ways ship of the Mane Six, and it looks like things are falling apart. Emphasis on 'looks', since there's a twist at the end that… honestly kind of doesn't make sense? Like, I get what it's insinuating, I just have no idea why it would be happening. Still at least amusing.

The prompt at the front telling us Applejack's parents are alive (and well before what we knew of them in canon) isn't actually enough for the giveaway here. I really liked the feeling of that realization creeping up on me halfway through. As for the rest, great atmosphere, just wish the time limit hadn't caught him.

Bad Mood by Silvernis

This is a story I appreciate for one big reason. Yeah, it's cute to see the music horses dating or whatever. But once you dig down into their personalities, canon, fanon or otherwise, one has to wonder just why a mare like Octavia puts up with a mare like Vinyl Scratch. This story is your answer. Vinyl is, for once, not portrayed as a total shithead and/or complete mess of a pony, and that goes a long way toward making a relationship work!

I wish this were a little more coy with what it was doing. The setup was honestly kind of a downer because there was nothing left to the imagination. But I do like stories about superheroes, however real they may be, and the ending is fun.

Number one, I really like this look at a Twilight newly arrived in Ponyville, talking to the Mayor for the first time, completely bereft of anything like social skills. That was fun. Then this winds up to the most unexpected punchline ever. Like, just try and guess what's going to happen, I dare you.

I kinda have to approach this as a comedy, because otherwise it's a story about a little kid throwing a fit because he can't get his favorite treat. And that's just kinda… not fun? <.< The emotions get across quite well regardless.

Okay, good, there's more than one crossover here, so I can leave just what as a spoiler. If you don't figure it out for yourself — I sure didn't — check the replies to Moth's first comment on the story. Otherwise, this was a very interesting look at Discord as a character with a fun (and yes, indulgent) cameo besides.

The Heat of the Moment by Aquaman
Genre: Romance/Drama
This story made me realize why people like DiamondBloom. It's like Rarijack, except that A) we can actually see what their relationship was like when they were young, and B) it is no doubt way more antagonistic. That's just fun. And this is just a nice, crunchy piece of drama that ends with some horse kissing, what more could you ask for? :)

This one's gonna take some figuring out. Me, I spent the whole time being irked that it didn't rhyme, only to see the author's assertion that it has a "very complicated rhyme scheme". And they're not wrong, if you go back and look, it's there. But the rhyming lines are so far apart they may as well not exist. Plus, not everything rhymes. I actually went through the lines and ABC'd them out, and there's just no pattern I can see. So all I can say is I find it structurally frustrating and functionally obtuse.
