Covid Scare, All Clear

So, it's been Snowmageddon in my area (again), so I have been shoveling like mad in the cold and dry for a couple of days. So waking up in the morning with a sore throat wasn't all that surprising. Probably not a big deal, I'll check myself with the pulse oximeter after breakfast.

I make myself a cup of medicinal tea and zombie my way through a bowl of cereal, before Dad asks me about the tea.

Dad: Is that caffeinated?

Me: Nah, it's slippery elm. My throat is bugging me.

Dad: Oh yeah, I've been sniffly for a couple days.

Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!

So that was a day of anxious panic until the at-home rapid-tests came back negative for everyone in the house, including the one who was at work while all of this went down.

I still have no idea what we're all sick with.
