Howdy folks...
Can I just say that COVID sucks?
COVID SUCKS!
It's gone through the entire house now, and I was the last to fall! And... I still feel crappy. Foo.
But in the meantime, since I suddenly find myself with some extra time, I'm resurrecting my story, Amulet of Shades. I know, I know. Promises promises. I'll be without my artist, since she'll be in Leeds, England for the next 18 months. Was supposed to fly out two days ago, but due to Covid, her flight got pushed back to this coming Sunday.
Be ready, Leeds. You're getting an incredible human being. (as is my older daughter, who will be in Ireland for the same amount of time.) I'll miss both terribly - but the kids grow up and move on in the world, right?
So, significant work has been done in getting this chapter ready for publication. We'll see if I can launch it soon - and maybe ask one final bit of art from Tillie-TMB before she becomes a resident of England for a while? We'll see. No promises.
Sorry. Life has been going on. Let's see if I can muster the drive to finish this thing (as promised). Until next blog, cheers!

It finally came for me earlier this week. Sucks just dealing with the lack of energy and my head feeling like a lead brick.

Current word count of unpublished chapter is 8388 words. Not done yet, either. Although something is troubling me about the chappy. I'll put up another blog post about it.
