On Russia and Ukraine (or rather, our response to it) · 12:53am Feb 12th, 2022
I don't really talk politics, but given the severity of the situation and just how big it is, I felt like I should say something to some of my followers out there.
For those of you following the current Russia-Ukraine situation, I know what it feels like to be concerned. It's certainly not unwarranted, and in fact I'd encourage being in the know about this given its severity and stakes on a geopolitical scale. But no matter what happens, even if worse comes to worst and war breaks out between the two and all that'll come across the globe with that, we must do whatever we can to not allow ourselves to sink into outright panic. Nothing got solved by a panicked mind.
And I'm saying all this to myself as much as I am to all of you.
I can't say for certain what will happen next or have definitive predictions of what may come in the following days and weeks. Right now all we can really do is watch, wait, hope, pray, whatever we choose to do. But whatever happens, whatever changes, the honest likelihood is that we'll probably still be here.
Keep calm. Keep level-headed. And keep looking out for each other, true believers.
