R.I.P. Peter Robbins · 10:00pm Jan 26th, 2022
It has just been reported that last week, Peter Robbins, the first person to ever voice Charlie Brown died at the age of 65 from suicide. He had previously been diagnosed as suffering from bipolar disorder, which resulted in prison time between 2015 and 2019.
The Peanuts specials and movies have famously always relied on the voice of actual children for the character. Peter Robbins voiced Charlie Brown in the first of these specials and movies in the 1960's, one of the longest lasting tenures of any official Peanuts voice, including the yearly broadcast specials: A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
He will be missed.
He will be missed greatly...I love A Charlie Brown Christmas...
๐Man. Another legend, gone.
Oh no another one ๐ข r.i.p Peter Robbins
DAmn it, this year is getting crappier by the minute.
Rest In Peace, at least Charles can finally kick that ball.
