1/24/2022 Update for Feathered Hearts and Harmonic Resonance · 3:00pm Jan 24th, 2022
Well, folks, two new chapters of the Feathered Hearts main and side stories are in progress, with the former just started and the latter in prereads, aiming for a Wednesday evening release. Sorry for the delay, given I really did want to get it done in time for publishing on Sunday morning. But the reason is that quite simply, the new Eros chapter is one of the longest clop chapters I’ve ever written, topping the scales now at 12,700 words. I had to work all weekend on it just to get it draft complete on Sunday night.
Feathered Hearts - Eros
I’ll start with Eros. At 12.7k words, I could break it up, and I normally would for a clop chapter that size. But this time...? For some reason, it feels right to keep it intact. It’s not quite drumfire clop, as I’ve heard long entries of wall-to-wall M-rated action called, given it opens things with a recap of the evening’s events from Fortrakt’s point of view. But it’s definitely getting there in the last two-thirds of it!
Readers of Eros already know what’s about to happen to Fortrakt, but what you don’t know is the role he played in earlier events and a surprising potential talent he discovered, even if he’s not certain of its nature or if he’s just imagining it. But suffice it to say he’s been helping things along; even topping from the bottom in some ways. For readers, consider it a new fetish that appeared by surprise in the course of my writing.
This chapter will be chock full of more hot and heavy interspecies action, both straight and gay, and also segues into the start of the movie Midway, which I’ve been teasing that they watched for a while. I can’t give you a teaser because there’s not enough in there that isn’t at least R-rated, but here’s the full spoiler list of M-rated chapter content for those curious:
An uncertain amount of mind control, Tara and Gilda topping Fortrakt, glimpses and more of MMM action involving Giraldi, Chris and Marco, more cock and boob/crotchboob growth, tons of first-time gay and straight rimming, Marco being a terrible tease and asking for it again, fantasies from our favorite First Spear about forming a human male harem, a couple rounds of bukkake along with all the usual types of interspecies intercourse, and most taboo of all, Gilda crying on Tara’s shoulder over Rainbow Dash.
As things stand, the chapter will release on Wednesday night, after all prereads are in and another editing pass or two is completed. Be looking for it.
Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles
And now, back to the main story. As a thank-you for all the new readers; for all the feedback and acclaim I’ve been getting on the recent chapter releases, I’m planning a very special treat for you fine folks in Chapter 23—it’s finally time for the Ibex to appear. Suffice it to say, the Capricorn Conclave hadn’t given up trying to drive a wedge between griffons and humans, or trying to get their hooves on more human tech and weaponry. But they also didn’t anticipate the Cloven attack, and thus, mutual hatred and existing intelligence operations may have to be put aside in the face of an existential threat.
I’m also getting a LOT of requests from readers and even my own prereaders to have more human military forces cross the portal to engage in the war. I’m going to say now that wasn’t my plan, and I honestly don’t think it was DEL’s either. But given the clamor for it, I may have to find a way to do it. I’ll have to think about it.
Harmonic Resonance
Work begins on the third full chapter of Harmonic Resonance this week, and the next member of the Humane 6 to ascend is Rarity and not Pinkie Pie by request of the commissioner. I will tentatively target a release for that the weekend after next, in early February. I grant AJ’s ascension will be a hard act to follow, but I have some ideas, as well as knowing the name and powers of her goddess form. More updates on that as we get closer.
And after that...
Work on Feathered Hearts will continue for as long as my muse wants it, but I do need to be getting back to stuff like Unleash the Magic and Firefly eventually, folks. For now, there’s enough to keep me busy and my muse engaged. Thanks for following these works, and thanks for all the feedback!
