Cook’s Tour and Brass Ring are complete, or at least as complete as they need to be. The former clocks in at around seventy thousand words, the latter at about seventy-seven thousand, counting “Oops.” Print lay-outs are complete for both as well; with “The Farmer in the Dell” and a chronology appendix in Cook’s Tour and “Conference” in Brass Ring, I was able to bring both volumes to almost the same page count—just four pages difference—which is pretty amazing. (I have proof PDF files for anyone who’s interested; just give me a destination to send one or both of them to.)
Right now, the stories and anthologies that await attention, in rough order of priority, are:
- Finishing Lectern’s New and Used Books: Fall Semester with part 2 of the O&O game
- Starting Lectern’s New and Used Books: Spring Semester
- Continuing The Campus
- Starting Off Campus
- Starting Space Opera
- Continuing Inspired by . . .
- Finishing “Courtesy Call”
I’ll be taking a short break from writing before taking it up again, probably measured in days or weeks.
Roger that good to see your still doing ok
