    My thoughts on Stellar Blade

Her ass is not fat enough. That is all.

    Ponies got much better asses.

MLP Gen5 Butts are too small

Seriously, they are. This is by far the most important issue, if they made their asses fatter it would improve viewership. If they made the ponies thicc prudes would complain, which would only draw in even more viewers. Twilight Sparkle, the protagonist of the series has a fat ass, and her teacher Princess Celestia, who's ass is even fatter.

    I don't like anthro

The main reason is uncanny valley. When something looks human but not quite. A perfect example would be a robot trying to mimic being human, it looks unsettling. It's somewhat insulting towards the ponies, you have Twilight Sparkle there a beautiful unicorn and you can't embrace her just because she's not fully in human shape, even though she has all the qualifications to be a sapient-minded

The attacks on anime are ridiculous

I am sorry about this blog, but anime as in japanese cartoons made in japan are under attack by western moral puritans, because it doesn't adhere to their moral standards. This strikes me as a very imperialistic mindset, not everyone has to adhere to our values.

The fandom is a shadow of its former self · 1:46pm Jan 16th, 2022

It seems we have become the Dúnedain of Eriador after the fall of Arnor. Our numbers are few, and we get few reinforcements in the form of new fans. But as semi furries (some of us, outright furries) we may draw in some new people here and there. Perhaps when the G5 series will happen Aragon will come out of the shadows and lead us to greatness once more? Then again, not every brony is on fimfiction. We are spread out like Rangers. I think our numbers are not as few as we think they are.

I think there's some hope for some new renewed interest. Or perhaps, it's a fools' hope?

Wish I could see the image man.

Edit: fixed. I admire your optimism.

I don't get any of your references here. Who is Dunedain of Erador?

5627921
From the Lord of the Rings books/movies/games series.

A pretty big thing.

Whew, Tolkien references!

Yeah, things are looking dire but do not despair. For of us is required a blind trust, and a hope without assurance, knowing not what lies before us in a little while. There will come a day when, like an ivory tree, the fandom will sprout from the earth and bask in the sunlight of a new dawn.

I have hope too. I want to believe.

If it's so big then why haven't I heard of it?
Checkmate, atheist.

Tolkien references in a MLP site!

Is it not cool?

Cool>cooler>coolest> Tolkien references cool

Thanks. You have my axe.

I'm still here, just not on as often as I'd like to

Glad to have you.

Like the Latin language ponies aren’t dead, they’re immortal, however the price for that immortality is relative obscurity to all those outside of the community.

When’s the last time you heard about the Star Trek or Doctor Who fandoms (assuming you aren’t apart of them)? If you aren’t interested in either franchise possibly years, far longer than you can remember, yet these fandoms are thriving.

It’s my theory that immortal fandoms go through 3 stages. First they start out and relatively few people are aware of them, just a few nerds and assorted weirdos (2010-2011 for pony), then it blows up and is absolutely everywhere, EVERYWHERE, completely saturating the mainstream culture, or at least the internet (2012-2014), then it inevitably fades out of the mainstream back into the realm of nerds and weirdos.

Sure, a lot of the steam is gone, the originality and creativity of content has inevitably fell, but most of the same people are here, and great content in the form of stories, animations, songs, etc is being produced everyday, it’s just not as frenzied as it used to be.

I thoroughly look forward to 2050 when this weird little fandom of ours has been around for near half a century. I have absolutely no doubt that people will still be producing and consuming G4 MLP content. It may be a little quieter, but I think we’ve reached a comfy plateau, and in the time between then and now works every bit as good and better than the classics in every MLP related genre will be made, even if they aren’t as popular as that initial wave.

That's a very good summary. We are technically part of the furry fandom so we always going to have some sort of brony.

We will remain and this fandom will stay forever. Not just from our passion but also from what we make. (also multiverse theory)

We hold true to each other.
