    "New" Story and New Group

I'm starting to write a new story, or not really. It will actually be a compilation of stories in the universe of UME. Tales From The Omniverse. More than a compilation, this is a group made by Cyrus Colter there. In this group, people will be able to post their Tales happening in UME's universes.

    Sizes Precision

With A Sweetie Dream Land's rewriting, I have changed some sizes.

As of the starts of A Sweetie Dream Land, Kirby was 20cm tall. A Waddle Dee is about 30cm, Dedede, about one meter, Meta Knight, over 30cm (maybe 35cm, not sure yet), and Sweetie Void, about 50cm.

By the time of The Forgotten Land, Kirby is 30cm tall, and Sweetie is about 60cm.

    Rewriting A Sweetie Dreamland

I'm going to start to rewrite A Sweetie Dreamland, essentially to change the verb tenses. I'm also going to change "Dreamland" to "Dream Land", maybe change a few lines here and there, and so on. I don't know how long it will take, but I think that I should be done before the end of February.

The First Story I Ever Wrote · 4:11am Jan 11th, 2022

Because of Writer's Block, I have some difficulty writing the next chapter of UME. Don't worry, I'm still advancing on it, but the next chapter probably won't come out before a few more days or a week. To make you wait, I decided to share with you the first story I ever wrote. I wrote it back when I wasn't even in high school. Must have been when I was 13 or 14. I wrote it on DeviantArt, and here's the link if you're curious, but I'm warning you, it's in French and I wrote it in a theatrical style (so the characters' names are written before their dialogue). Also, reading it again, I can see that it's sometimes very cringe. That's why I decided to just give a condensed version of what happens in it. To show you at least how crazy I had been as a teen. It's a Mario story, but I took a lot of inspiration from various sources. Also, back when I started writing it, Mario & Luigi Dream Team hadn't been out yet, so I through that Sarasaland was a neighboring kingdom of the Mushroom Kingdom, and I also thought back then that the Koopalings were Bowser's children.

The story starts when Peach suddenly disappears in the middle of the night. Obviously, everyone immediately assumes that Bowser is responsible, but it quickly turns out that they were wrong. After all these decades kidnapping Peach and failing to defeat Mario, Bowser had become depressed and had no project to kidnap Peach again anytime soon.

But then, a robotic copy of Mario comes and defies Mario in a fight. Mario easily wins, but before it is destroyed, the Mariobot gives a small holographic projector that gives a message of a certain "b". "b" is entirely hidden in darkness, only their blue eyes visible, and their voice is faked, sounding robotic. They tell everyone that they are the one kidnapping Peach and that they intend to invade the planet, starting with the Mushroom Kingdom because "b" knows that Mario is the biggest threat. But instead of doing it the boring way, "b" decided to warn Mario to make it more fun. "b" also gives a last clue about their identity: they were always present, since the beginning.

So Mario, Luigi, and Bowser join forces to fight off "b" and decide to see prof. E. Gadd in case the old man could do something to help them find where "b" is hidden. Using a hair of Peach, E. Gadd gets the idea of building a Peach Radar, but it will take some time.

The trio then returns to Toadtown where they discover that "b" not only built robotic copies of Mario and others (they fight a Bowserbot on the way), they also created clones! So the trio ends up fighting a clone of Mario, Luigi, and Bowser, and after a chaotic fight, they win with the help of the Toads.

However, at the end of the fight, the clones warn the heroes that "b" knew about their plan with E. Gadd and sent some minions to kidnap him. And indeed, none other than a clone of Grodus kidnapped the old man. Thankfully, E. Gadd is able to communicate with Mario and to tell him that Grodus is sending him to a secret base in Dry Dry Desert. The prof also reveals that it is a trap and that a clone of Smithy himself is waiting for them, and that they also intends to force the prof to do something for them.

So, in the desert, the trio finds the entrance to the secret base (which is underground) only to fight the Axem Rangers and Crump. After winning, they then fight their way through the base, destroying many robots of various characters and avoiding traps before they reach a last room where the trio has to fight Grodus and Smithy. During the fight, the villains reveal that they used a new invention of "b" to hypnotise E. Gadd and force him to build a powerful mecha, so the trio ends up having to fight the old man piloting the mecha. Thankfully, Mario is able to destroy the device that hypnotised E. Gadd, freeing him from its control, and the prof immediately uses the mecha to destroy the clones. However, the clones had an ace up their sleeves: the mecha has a powerful bomb inside it. So the heroes and the prof are forced to escape the base as quickly as possible, barely succeeding.

Only to have to fight "b" right handman: a powerful robot looking like the regretted King Toadstool. After an apocalyptic fight where the robot shows its huge power, the heroes are able to escape with the help of Stuffwell doing diversion. But Stuffwell then reveals that Toadtown is invaded, so Mario, Luigi, and Bowser quickly go to defend it where they end up fighting clones of Count Bleck and his minions (including Mister L) while being careful of the Toads who are hypnotised and have bombs on them so if they are hit, they explode. After that, it was direction Bowser's castle which is attacked by clones of Cackletta and Fawful as well as the robot King Toadstool. Fawful is the first to go, using Bowser's hypnotised army to force the heroes to fight while he remains behind to watch the show. He is thankfully turned into a Sheep Sheep by Kammy (who wasn't hypnotised) and the hypnosis device he had is then promptly destroyed, freeing the army. Cackletta is then next but is easily eliminated. The fight however gave Robot Toadstool enough time to place in the center of the castle another device that turns the castle into a giant robot. Everyone is forced to escape before the giant robot starts rampaging. Robot Toadstool then remains behind to fight the heroes, but the fight is quickly stopped by a part Bowser's army (with the Koopa Bros, Kammy, and Kamec at its head) who comes to the rescue. With Robot Toadstool busy fighting the army, the heroes go after the robot castle. The second part of Bowser's army, with Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings in its head, is attacking the castle which is defended by many robots.

In the middle of the battle to stop the castle, a spaceship suddenly comes and unleashes an army of robots as well as some clones (with the two Princess Shroobs at their head). The heroes are thankfully saved by Bowser's airships finally coming, but then, E. Gadd calls and warns everyone that more spaceships have appeared all over the Mushroom Kingdom and have unleashed even more robots and clones, truly beginning "b"'s invasion of the kingdom. Seeing how critical the situation has become, Bowser sends Bowser Jr. to the Beanbean Kingdom to call for help. After that, Mario find a Mega Mushroom and uses it to fight and destroy the castle and the spaceship. However, by the time the Mega Mushroom stops its effect, there are still many robots and clones present and the battle continues. Bowser trusting his army to continue the fight, the heroes decide to return to E. Gadd's lab.

"b" informs Robot Toadstood about the destruction of the castle and calls him back.

As Bowser Jr. reaches the Beanbean Kingdom and manages to convince the royals to send help with Prince Peasley at the head, the heroes find themselves in a situation where they have to defend E. Gadd's lab which serves as a shelter for the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom who have been able to escape. As a part of Bowser's army remain to defend, the others go after the spaceships approaching the lab. Eventually, Mario and the others rescue Peasley and his troops who have been about to be submerged by several spaceships. After that, they disperse to the four corners of the kingdom to destroy more spaceships and rescue anyone they find, ending up fighting some powerful clones such as Bowletta and Dark Fawful, and even a giant robot made of several spaceships that merged together.

Eventually, E. Gadd finally achieves the Peach Radar and discovers that she's in space. Thus, the heroes unleashes a final assault using Bowser's airships, discovering that "b" has a space-fortress orbiting the planet. The fortress is obviously well-defended by a small armada of spaceships, but some of Bowser's army manages to pass through and to enter the fortress by the hangar. The heroes then enter the maze of hallways until reaching a room where Robot Toadstool is awaiting them. However, instead of fighting directly, the robot first sends clones of Bowser, Bowletta, Dark Fawful, the twin Princess Shroobs, Smithy, Grodus, and Count Bleck.

But no Tatanga, to Mario suspicion. The heroes have tried to guess "b"'s identity, and they have remarked that they never fought a clone of Tatanga. This probably meant that while "b" had been somehow present to get materials to clone the Shroobs or even Count Bleck, they never encountered Tatanga. Because of that and of a few other missing clones, they began to suspect that "b" is actually...

Well, first, the heroes fight the clones of all their worst enemies, and then the Robot Toadstool itself, which they finally manage to defeat. The robot, still activated despite the damage he has taken, then leads the heroes to "b", at the top of the highest tower of the fortress.

Here, they finally discover that "b" is none other than Peach herself.

She reveals that, since the day her father told her about how she will rule the Mushroom Kingdom, after her mother's death, she actually got the dream to become the queen of the world. But of course, since the different kingdoms would refuse to gather into a single nation, she decided to do the next best thing: conquer them. Knowing that this would be frowned upon, especially by her father, she began by poisoning him little by little until he died, making it pass for a death by sickness. But then, seeing how incompetent the Toads were, she decided to secretly build her own army. Since she was little she had always been a real prodigy in many domains of science and engineering, which she hid, so she had no problem knowing how to do it. She made herself pass for an innocent princess, played a role, let herself being kidnapped by Bowser or by other powerful beings in order to secretly get genetic materials from them and create her clones. She also built the Robot Toadstool so he could secretly build a laboratory for her, the secret base in the Dry Dry Desert. There, Robot Toadstood began building the army of robots as well as the space fortress while Peach gathered the genetic materials through the years.

Until, finally, the fortress was finished and Robot Toadstool told her during the night. So Peach left the castle and began the next phase of her plan under the secret identity of "b" (which was actually the letter "p" from Peach upside down).

After that, the fight against Peach begins, the Princess using her chair as a mobile armed flying transport to move around and attack, pretty similar to the fight against the youngest Princess Shroob, excepted that she is more deadly and pretty fast so she easily dodges most of the heroes' attacks.

Once the chair is destroyed, Peach attacks the heroes directly, revealing that she's must stronger than she showed previously. She actually trained physically and even gave herself artificial improvements so she is even stronger than Bowser and so fast that hitting her is almost impossible. In the end, the heroes are forced to use a star to fight her.

Only for Peach to merge with the Robot Toadstool and a brick of the strongest metal of the universe, becoming some kind of android with skin half organic and half robotic and with mechanical arms coming from her back Doctor Octopus style. In this form, she's able to resist even the power of the star, and the resulting fight entirely destroys the tower and badly damage the rest of the fortress (the troops having escaped). By the end, the heroes are about to be defeated when Mario manages to take Peach by surprise and throw his hammer at what remains of her chair, making it fire a laser at Peach which disintegrates her.

And so, it's over.

Using a hair from Peach and her cloning technology, E. Gadd is able to clone her and even to make it so she was the Princess they all knew and love with no idea of who she really was, and everything returned to normal.

Or everyone thought.

Peach's fortress is left to drift into space and is eventually found by a group of space rat pirates led by Captain Sniche. The pirates discover all the technologies left and clone Peach using a hair they find. They become allies and, some time later, try to start a war between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Beanbean Kingdom using clones of Toads led by a clone of Mario and a clone of Luigi. This fails thanks to E. Gadd (who rebuilt the mecha he previously built in Dry Dry Desert), but as Bowser is away from his castle with his son, the Koopalings, and Kammy, clones of them enter the castle and make themselves pass for the real ones, turning Bowser's army against him. The heroes quickly understand that Peach (which will be named Evil Peach to make it easier to understand) is back and start to act. By the same occasion, the other Peach (Good Peach) discovers the truth about herself.

On the way to Bowser's castle, the heroes (Peasley included) are joined by Yoshi. They are then able to prove that the Bowser and co with the army are the clones, but as they prepare themselves to launch another assault to the space fortress, E. Gadd comes and warns them that Toadtown has been invaded and that a huge tower came out of the ground right in the middle of the castle. The prof, with Stuffwell's help, discovered that the tower is some kind of transmitter generating a shield, certainly around the space fortress. They then discovered that more towers appeared in Sarasaland, the Beanbean Kingdom, Yoshi Island, Delphino Island, Rogueport, and the Moon, making a total of seven towers.

And this time, the whole planet was invaded. Peach has finally put into action her world domination plan that she hadn't been able to start previously.

As Mario goes to scout to see what awaits them in Toadtown, a trap is unleashed on the others: the members of Bowser's army reveal to have been replaced by clones who capture everyone else. When Mario returns, the clones then use the others as hostages to force him to give up and capture him. It is planned to hypnotise Mario and the others to force them to work for Evil Peach. It is also revealed that the members of Bowser's army have been scattered all over the world to serve as slaves. But thanks to E. Gadd, the heroes are able to escape and to retake the castle, even eliminating a clone of Smithy bringing the hypnosis device.

The heroes then go to attack a camp to free some slaves.

Meanwhile, Evil Peach has captured Good Peach and, wishing to make her join her, gives her back everything that has been removed from her to make her the nice Peach she is today. However, after the operation, Good Peach remains unconscious. Indeed, the Star Spirits have used their powers to separate Good Peach's spirit from her body and to give her the form of a Star Spirit like Twink. Thanks to this, she's able to join Mario and the others as they attack the camp and fight a clone of Mario genetically modified to be huge and very buffed, and the princess helps them defeating him.

The heroes then get the idea of recruiting DK to help them fight, so they use one of Bowser's airships to fly over the ocean and join DK's island. On the way, they encounter a copy of the Axem Rangers' airship that almost destroys the heroes' airship. More Axem Rangers Airships then come, and eventually, the pirates' own mothership comes and destroys the heroes' airship. E. Gadd barely manages to bring everyone alive onto a nearby island with his mecha in submarine mode. Thankfully, on the island, they encounter Wario and Waluigi who accept to join them if they are payed one billion coins, which Peach and Peasley agree.

The heroes then use Wario and Waluigi's inflatable boat much too small for everyone) to reach DK's island only to discover that the island has been invaded too as there's now a factory on top of the volcano. Allying themselves to King K Rool and his Kremlings, they have to fight many robots and clones as well as the hypnotised DK and Diddy Kong, and they are able to save everyone before destroying the factory.

Now joined by the Kongs and the Kremlings, they build a new ship (a normal one) that they use to go to the nearest land: the Bird Kingdom. On the way, the pirates' mothership returns to finish the job, but the heroes are able to destroy it by firing into its main laser cannon just before it could fire. This angers Captain Sniches who personally comes as the heroes reach the Bird Kingdom, but they are able to defeat him and to force him to escape.

The heroes then start the process of freeing the Bird Kingdom, going from camp to camp to free the slaves while encountering more new enemies such as a mutant clone of Luigi with very long legs, or a mutant clone of Bowser with three heads, or a giant robot piloted by a clone of Fawful, or even the clone of a creature that looked like a giant furball who was actually the king of another kingdom. All the while, Good Peach learns more and more to use the powers given to her by the Star Spirits, saving more than once Mario and the others, especially against a huge building-turned-robot.

But then, as the kingdom is almost entirely freed, only leaving the capital and a last camp, the situation takes a very surprising twist. In the last camp, the clones built a secret weapon, a robot extremely powerful, more powerful than everything else, maybe even as powerful as Evil Peach. However, the robot pulled a Mewtwo and turned against the clones, creating a robot uprising. So when the heroes reach the last camp, it has been entirely destroyed, but they're at least able to save the prisoners who have been badly hurt.

The robot, who names himself God Robot, or G.R., then sends a message to everyone on the planet from the capital of the Bird Kingdom where he shows his power against the hypnotised King of the kingdom, easily defeating him. Thanks to this, he convinces most of the robots in the world to rebel against the clones under the ideal of rebuilding the world for themselves, starting a world-scale war between the robots and the clones with Mario's group in the middle.

When the heroes reach the capital to fight G.R., the robot easily defeats them before defying Evil Peach who personally comes to fight him. The fight, however, ends in a draw, and the two are evacuated by their respective armies which are then eliminated from the Bird Kingdom by the King when he wakes up free from the hypnosis.

With the clones and robots fighting each others, the Bird Kingdom remains mostly in peace after that, and the heroes use this to rest and prepare themselves.

Eventually, they hear the stories of an ancient civilization in a neighboring kingdom and of a powerful weapon that could help them in their fights against the robots and the clones, so a group is sent to the kingdom using a tunnel made with a drilling machine built by E. Gadd, thus passing under the clones and robots without worries.

In the kingdom, they quickly find a tunnel made by a group of archaeologists including Professor Kolorado, Kooper, and Goombella. With their help, they find an ancient and very advanced underground building where, after solving some puzzles and fighting some robots guarding the place, they encounter Barduan, the most advanced robot made to guard the weapon which reveals to be a giant flying battleship very advanced named Archilia. Barduan forces them to fight him to obtain it, but the fight is quickly interrupted by the clones attacking, so he allows the heroes to activate and use the battleship before joining them along with a large crew of robots. With Archilia, the heroes easily destroy their enemies and save a lot of slaves. Even a new version of the pirates' mothership is destroyed with just a shot of the main cannon named the Cruod Cannon.

Once done, the heroes use the Archilia to return to the Bird Kingdom and, after some preparations, go to Delfino Island to destroy the first tower. Unexpectedly, the robots help them by destroying most of the clones' airships going after the heroesto ensure that they have no problem reaching the island. It is G.R.'s plan in order to divide the clones defending the tower into two fronts: while the heroes will attack by the West, the robots will attack by the East.

While Evil Peach fights G.R. again, the heroes manage to retake most of the island. Then, Mario goes to fight the two enemy leaders helped by Good Peach's powers while Bowser and the others go to destroy the tower. The fight between Mario, Evil Peach, and G.R. eventually turns in Evil Peach's disadvantage. But before she could be killed by G.R., she's saved by Robot Toadstool that she has rebuilt sometime during the events in DK's island. Robot Toadstool, who acts surprisingly fatherly toward Evil Peach, then evacuates her, chased by G.R. who is stopped by two copies of Archilia that has already been built by the clones. Meanwhile, the tower is destroyed, and the island is totally freed. After destroying the two Archilia copies, G.R. is forced to give up the chase.

Next comes Rogueport. With Evil Peach injured, G.R. is confident that he can destroy the tower by himself only to come face to face with Captain Sniche who has received some artificial improvements like Evil Peach that made him even more powerful, and he easily gets the upper hand, badly damaging the robot. Witnessing the robots' retreat, the heroes decide to pass by the underground using the pipe from Twilight Town. A small group is able to infiltrate the land and to reach the village where they use the pipe. Once in the underground, they enter in contact with the local resistance who has managed to hide from the clones in the maze formed by the ruins of the ancient city. Mario thus finds many characters from The Millenium Door here. With their help, they are able to enter the tower using a trapdoor they made.

Only for all this to be a trap as the resistance members are hypnotised, and the heroes find themselves surrounded by Sniche and his troops. They are captured, but secretly, Mario manages to damage the hypnosis device just enough to free its victims. And so, as Mario and the others are about to be executed by Sniche, the resistance is able to use the diversion to destroy the tower. Mario then uses Sniche's shock at the tower being destroyed to free himself and knock out the rat in one it with a well placed hit. Everyone is then freed, and a battle begins where the heroes are joined by the resistance members. Sniche, however, quickly wakes up and attacks, only to accidentally create a tsunami that sweep the defenses, allowing the others aboard the Archilia and the other ships to join the battle. Sniche is then defeated by everyone teaming up on him and Doopliss finishes him by copying him and using the rat's own eye laser against him, sending him into space.

G.R. decides to end the heroes' actions, and for this, sends several missiles containing a anti-organic biochemical weapon at the Bird Kingdom as well as at several key points to make easier future assaults on the remaining towers. Barduan, with the Archilia, easily destroys the missiles coming to the Bird Kingdom. G.R. and a part of his army then personally come to end this, but while he's busy dealing with the heroes, the clones sends a general assault on the robots with a new, powerful clone at their head. Hearing about his troops being exterminated by this new mysterious clone, he gives up the fight against the heroes to deal with it.

G.R. eventually fights the new clone who reveals to be a clone of Mario who was in all points similar to the original excepted for the clothes that were black with white overalls that Evil Peach named Ultimario. The clone far surpasses G.R. and easily almost destroys him, only for G.R. to get him with a laser that sends him away, alive but badly hurt. But the damage G.R. took are too much and he deactivates, falling into the ocean.

The robots are pretty much destroyed, but in return, the heroes have finally gathered enough power to start a real counterattack on the clones. With the help of Good Peach's powers, and with Evil Peach and Ultimario healing, the heroes have no problem retaking most of the world.

But G.R. isn't destroyed. He's saved by an unexpected group: the X-Nauts. The real ones.

After their defeat against Mario, the X-Nauts built a submarine base where they waited for a new chance to conquer the world. But when the clones came, Grodus decided to oppose them by using secret passages they made to move behind the lines to sabotage them and free slaves to gather an army that included Tatanga.

Grodus manages to convince G.R. to ally himself with the X-Nauts. The X-Nauts then use their technology to upgrade G.R. while the robots discretely gather at their base, Grodus having the intention to attack Sarasaland with their help. While the X-Nauts and the robots prepare themselves, the heroes finish to reconquer the world and prepare themselves to attack Yoshi Island.

So the two armies, heroes and X-Nauts & Co, end up attacking Yoshi Island and Sarasaland at the same time. Yoshi Island, however, reveals to be heavily defended, especially by a recovered Ultimario. When the heroes arrive, the clones then reveal a new secret weapon: the Axem Rangers. More specifically, the Axem Rangers fusionning to form White Axems very powerful. A small army of them easily gives difficulty to the heroes.

While the battle happens, Cortez's ship which has been away in the ocean observing comes to give a hand. On the ship are also Admiral Bobbery and their respective crews of ghosts and Bob-Ombs. The ship accosts without being spotted, and Bobbery quickly finds some of his old allies who advise him to use the surprise effect to discretely go to the tower and destroy it with his Bob-Ombs. This is a success, and the tower is destroyed. Mario is then able to send Ultimario in orbit, winning the battle.

Meanwhile, the robots and X-Nauts have found themselves with their own problems while invading Sarasaland. Mainly a powerful monster almost invincible. It's also uncontrollable so, when the clones unleash it, it destroys everything, both allies and enemies, and even the tower. G.R. and Grodus only manage to defeat it by freezing it with the X-Naut's powerful magic.

They later discover that this monster is none other than Daisy. Thankfully, the X-Nauts are able to use their technology to reverse the mutation and turn her back to normal, or almost... But while the process happens, the clones unleash a new threat: a world wide hypnosis using a newly made machine and the tower in the Beambeam Kingdom. Because of it, all organic beings are hypnotised all over the world, even Mario and the others. Only Peach is able to resist it thanks to her star powers, as well as the robots like Stuffwell and Barduan. So they use the Archilia to escape the Bird Kingdom and search for G.R.

Thankfully, the X-Nauts' base is isolated enough that everyone in it isn't hypnotised, so they have no problem on their side excepted that they're now alone in the world, and also that the newly awakened Daisy has kept her monstrous force because the de-mutation process wasn't perfected yet, and poor Tatanga is pretty much mummified by the time the Princess is done with him. At least, the X-Nauts are quickly able to calm her down before she could cause some serious damage.

Just in time as they spot the Archilia being chased. So the X-Nauts and the robots save Good Peach and the others. G.R. then finds out that the hypnosis machine is at the Beanbean Kingdom and attempts to destroy it only to be stopped by Evil Peach who has turned herself even more powerful, forcing him to retreat. So this leaves everyone no choice but to infiltrate the Beanbean Kingdom during the night with a small groups composed of the ones who aren't affected by the hypnosis, so Good Peach, G.R., Grodus, and Barduan.

Discretely, they are able to reach the castle's basement where the machine is, only to come face to face with a monstrous Queen Bean defending the door to the machine. Good Peach, Grodus, and Barduan attack her, leaving the way open for G.R. to destroy the machine.

Only for the machine to reveal to him that it has a bomb, and if it is destroyed, then the whole kingdom will disappear. Instead, G.R. has no choice but to pass the Questionnaire of Doom: he must answer correctly ten questions, and any error will immediately make the bomb explode. So while G.R. answers the questions (some of them being troll questions to exasperate him and even make him rage), the others manage to defeat Monster Queen Bean only for Evil Peach to come, and Good Peach faces her in order to stop her from stopping G.R.

Meanwhile, G.R. answers the last questions, but the last one, about why Peach dreams to conquer the universe, reveals to be a trap that G.R. answers wrongly. It turns out that there's a secret reason behind all this, that she revealed to nobody. Thankfully, that whole questionnaire was another troll from the machine just to make G.R. lose time. No way it would explode while Evil Peach is present. So G.R. destroys it, freeing everyone from the hypnosis.

Excepted Mario who Evil Peach reveals is still under her control as she shows another hypnosis device in her hand, then she teleports away with Mario using some other device.

So the heroes destroy the tower, the X-Nauts begin the de-mutation process on Queen Bean, and prepare themselves to invade the last bastion of Evil Peach's army: the Mushroom Kingdom.

During the assault, G.R. quickly finds himself against Ultimario again. Then, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy encounter Captain Sniche who survived and is now a cyborg. A monstrous Toadsworth then comes, and the group is joined by Wario and Waluigi while Good Peach spots her evil double alongside Mario, so she flies away to face them. As Luigi remains to face Sniche, and Daisy fights Toadsworth, Wario and Waluigi are forced to fight the Toad Brigade, also turned into monsters.

When Good Peach reaches Evil Peach and Mario, the evil clone then uses a device on the plumber that makes him grow in size until he is two times taller than the castle. Evil Peach then fights her double, stopping her from saving Mario who starts rampaging until he is stopped by Bowser coming with a new version of his Mecha Bowser. At the same time, Bowser Jr., Kamec, Kammy, and the Koopalings end up fighting the Koopa Bros turned into monsters too.

The Mecha Bowser is quickly destroyed, but Bowser returns, giant, thanks to Kammy and the other Magikoopas. The Toad Brigade, the Koopa Bros, and Toadsworth are also quickly defeated. Luigi then manages to destroy the tower as collateral damage while fighting Sniche. The rat is then accidentally crushed by Mario before the plumber is KOed by Bowser, the two of them recovering their normal size.

But then, Evil Peach instructs Ultimario to use his ace, and the clone disappears into Mario, taking possession of him. Good Peach is then captured by Evil Peach who disappears with her.

Ultimario easily overpowers everyone, but inside him, he has to fight too the real Mario who attempts to take back his body.

Mario discovers then that Ultimario is made from Peach's inner darkness, a darkness apparently caused by an untold suffering. Mario doesn't know what this suffering is, but he then gets in his head that maybe he can help Evil Peach. Because Evil Peach is a clone, not the real one. Whatever happened to the real Peach that made her what she was never happened to the clone. While Mario doesn't know if he could have saved the real Peach, the clone is different, because these memories aren't hers. She's just... a puppet of these memories. If he could convince her to stop following them, to build her own future... To be her own person... Then, maybe she can be saved.

Seeing Mario's compassion, Ultimario sees hope, turning his darkness into light, and he disappears.

Thus ending the battle in the Mushroom Kingdom.

But then, a meteor falls and reveals to be the Star Spirits trapped in ice. Once they're saved, they heal everyone and give a very bad news.

Evil Peach now has the Star Rod.

Sniche, who still has survived, then comes and threatens to self-destruct. At the same time, a giant meteor invoked by Evil Peach using the Star Rod appears in the sky. G.R. thankfully knocks out Sniches and throws him at the meteor. The rat self-destructs and the explosion destroys the meteor. But more meteors appear, and the heroes are forced to quickly prepare themselves to assault the Moon while they destroy the meteors with the Star Spirits' help.

However, it turns out that Peach saw that coming because she placed her armada and her own fortress between them and the Moon. And of course, since the Moon's tower isn't destroyed, then the fortress still has a shield, rendering any assault on it impossible. To make it worse, Evil Peach then climbs on the roof of the highest tower and uses the Star Rod to attack the heroes with a powerful star beam that the Star spirit are able to stop. But Evil Peach continues to attack until she is suddenly stopped by a laser doing a circle around her, making the roof she's on crumble with her on it.

The Star spirit use the respite to send Mario, Luigi, and Bowser to the Moon.

Meanwhile, Evil Peach finds herself having to fight Good Peach again. Good Peach is now back in her body, with all her memories and everything recovered, but she is still fighting for Mario and the others to her double's shock.

"Why? Why are you doing this?! You were supposed to ally yourself to me!"

"These memories that aren't mine aren't enough for me to betray Mario!"

"What are you saying? They are YOUR memories!"

"I am not Peach! I didn't suffer what she suffered!"

"But you are her clone!"

"So what?!"

The two then fight a bit, but Evil Peach manages to send Good Peach toward the Moon.

The tower is right in the middle of the X-Nauts' ancient base. As Mario, Luigi, and Bowser traverse it, they eventually find TEC who is under Evil Peach's control. The computers sounds the alarm, making many clones come and revealing cannons. But Good Peach then comes and is able to get TEC out of her double's control.

Peach's true past is then revealed.

To make it short, Peach was abused by her mother, the queen, and was neglected by both of her parents. The queen was very authoritarian and made Peach go through hell in order to turn her into the perfect lady. Her father, the king, was actually very nice to her but didn't try anything to stop what his wife was doing, Peach was often left under the care of Toadsworth and the other servants, and she never left the castle. She developed a terrible loneliness and a profound need to be acknowledged. She wanted the world to know who she was. To love her. To respect her. And she also wanted the pain to stop and to never return.

She killed her mother at 11. In the middle of the night, she ran away from the castle and searched a group of brigands with who she made a bargain: they killed the queen, and they would receive all the gold of the kingdom as well as a pardon for all their crimes. So, two days later, as the queen was going to another kingdom, the brigands attacked her vehicle while they were beside a canyon. Because of a clumsiness from the brigands, their own vehicle fell alongside hers, but the queen managed to cling to the ledge of the canyon.

Until Peach came and kicked her hand to make her fall.

There were no survivors.

This resulted in the king falling into a depression, now almost totally neglecting his daughter as he wasted away. Some years later, as she neared adulthood, not supporting this anymore, she began to poison him.

Before he died, Peach revealed to him everything.

In return, he revealed that he knew, forgave her, thanked her, and told her goodbye...

What happened after that, the heroes already knew.

TEC then self-destructed, destroying the last tower. The heroes are able to escape the base with a small spaceship in a hangar. Using it, they directly go to the now vulnerable fortress, Good Peach making it crash into the tower from the top, ramming into Evil Peach and going through the floors of the tower until reaching the bottom where the fight against Robot Toadstool previously happened, also the room where the real Peach died.

Joined by the Star Spirits, the heroes, especially Mario and Good Peach, attempt to convince Evil Peach to give up because she wasn't the real Peach and all that.

On the brink of an existential crisis, a very angered Evil Peach then decided to use the Star Rod to do one thing.

"You who died in this place, I wish that you come back to life!!!"

Bringing the original Peach back to life, in her android form.

Evil Peach, however, makes an error by ordering the original to destroy Mario and the others, resulting in her being slapped and crashing through several walls. This made her drop the Star Rod which the original Peach immediately grabbed with the intension to use it to, not conquer the universe, but destroy it and remake it.

Nothing the heroes say convince her to stop. She is now too deep in her own darkness to hear their pleas. So they are left with no choice but to fight her. Thanks to the Star Spirits, they put up a better fight than the previous time, and Good Peach using a laser gun, Android Peach's weakness, helps a lot. G.R. also joins them, his own lasers turning the fight more in their advantage. But the original Peach still remains very powerful, made worse by her using the Star Rod with was darkening, being corrupted by her darkness.

The heroes are almost killed, but they are saved at the last second by Evil Peach who doesn't want the universe to be destroyed. The clone has teleported them into the armory, full of laser weapons. so they arm themselves after Evil Peach teleports away. They then see the original pass beside the room and spy on her as she opens a secret passage to the fortress' core.

It was a huge room with thousands of tubes that served to create clones, the source of Peach's army. And in the center was a ball of energy very similar to Rosalina's Observatory's core.

The original Peach then throws the corrupted Star Rod into the core, making it turn black as it absorbed the energy of the rod.

The heroes restart to fight her, the fight going much better now that they were all equipped with laser weapons. But it quickly ends as the core finishes to absorb the Star Rod's energy, and the rod, now grey, comes out of it. Peach then goes into the core.

Thus, Peach merges with the powers of the Star Rod and, by the same occasion, with the whole fortress.

The heroes quickly escape the fortress with the Star Spirits' help, the fortress getting covered in darkness. both the fortress and the darkness covering it then take on Peach's appearance, Peach now being powerful beyond belief. She then charges an attack to destroy everyone with the planet, far too powerful for the Star Spirits to stop by themselves.

But then, Good Peach is able to give energy back to the Star Rod thanks to her will and determination to see her wish be fulfilled, giving enough power for the Star spirits to stop Peach's attack. The Star Spirits then gathered all their powers into Mario, and Good Peach used the Star Rod on him too.

With all their power, Mario is able to fight Peach and to destroy her.

But unbeknown to everyone, Mario actually absorbs her to keep her locked into his own body.

This used all the power of the Star road which was grayed again. The Star Spirits take it and leave before everyone returns on the planet to recover. The X-Nauts finish to de-mutate everyone that has been turned into a monster before they move away into space.

Forgetting to give Daisy back her normal strength...

But one week later, Rosalina comes with bad news. Evil Peach has built another space fortress, which she had sent Robot Toadstool to build while she was dealing with the heroes and the robots. So Rosalina leads the heroes to the fortress in question...

And discover that the fortress is actually a whole reconverted solar system, protected by an armada easily reaching the billion of spaceships. (don't ask how they got all the metal and how they built all this so rapidly...)

This seems hopeless, but thankfully, they remark that there are lots of robots among the ranks of their enemies.

So G.R. does what he does best and starts a robot rebellion all over the fortress.

Using this, the heroes are able to enter the fortress by a planet-sized hangar from which they start to spread.

They have to reach the "star" of the fortress, but for this, they first have to destroy generators situated in the center of the "planets", each well defended by very powerful clones and other creations. All the while, Mario has to deal with the original Peach attempting to gain control of his body. With the help of very fast vehicles, they are able to move rapidly through the fortress despite the distances. However, they have a time limit because the fortress has a cannon and Evil Peach intends to use it to destroy the Mushroom World.

G.R. attempts to destroy the cannon, but it is protected by the forcefield surrounding the "star". He is still stopped in his attempt by two clones, one of Mario and one of Luigi. They both are dark clones, like Ultimario, and are also mutants, being very big and possessing claws with respectively the power of fire and thunder. Meanwhile, Rosalina goes to the center of the universe to do something.

Mario and the others enter the first planet where they encounter a new kind of clones: clones that are the fusion between at least two persons. For example, the first one they encounter is a clone of Cackletta and Count Bleck, meaning that it possesses both of their powers, in addition of a very ugly appearance.

And the two dark clones that G.R. fights reveal that Evil Peach is creating what they call the Ultimate Clone, which will be the most powerful being in the universe.

Eventually, the heroes reach the core of the first planet where they have to fight what is pretty much Giga Bowser. They win the fight by luring him so he destroys the generator which ends up in the clone dying in the resulting explosion. At the same time, G.R. is able to win his fight and even to destroy the fortress' cannon by sending the two dark clones through the forcefield to crash into it.

For the second generator, Mario and his group have to fight a huge army of clones with some dark clones included. At the same time, a different group led by Wario reaches the third generator where Evil Peach sends a huge oriental dragon with countless heads to guard it. When Wario's group manages to kill the dragon, and two more generators end up destroyed, Evil Peach personally comes to guard the fourth generator.

To ensure that everyone would come to the fourth planet, she destroy all the other paths excepted one leading to it. So everyone enters the fourth planet and ends up facing her. She easily overpowers everyone despite the others putting up a good fight, but at this moment, the original Peach is able to take control of Mario and badly injuries Evil Peach under the eyes of Good Peach. Thankfully, before Peach could kill her clone, Mario is able to regain control, and Evil Peach escapes.

When Evil Peach returns to Robot Toadstool, she tells him what happened before losing consciousness.

Robot toadstool then swears to save her.

After that, the heroes destroy the remaining generators one by one and are able to enter the star only to be blocked at the entrance by a very solid door. But after a few minutes of trying to destroy it, an anonymous benefactor who previously informed them about the generators and many other stuff about the fortress opens the door and all the other entrances of the star, allowing the heroes to enter. Inside the star, they have to fight the elite of Evil Peach's army, from White Axems to dark clones to monsters of all kinds.

Robot Toadstool is forced to wake Evil Peach up despite that she hasn't recovered from her previous fight. But she's will to fight as long as she can in order to gain time until her ultimate clone, Silvermorph, is ready. So Evil Peach goes to wait the heroes in the room before the one containing Silvermorph while Robot Toadstool goes to wait them in the room before.

But when the heroes come, Robot Toadstool reveals to be the mysterious helper. He doesn't give his reason, saying that they don't have time, so the heroes continue and leave him behind.

But as Good Peach passes beside him, he says to her, "Save her..."

Once they reach Evil Peach, Good Peach asks everyone to let her fight her alone, which they accept.

So the two Peach fight. A fight during which Good Peach finally manages to make her double see reason.

Robot Toadstool then comes and reveals to Evil Peach what he did, and why. Because he wanted to stop her from becoming like the real Peach. To not repeat the same error than with the real Peach (Evil Peach having used the saved memories of the first Robot Toadstool to build this one).

When Mario asks why he didn't stop the real Peach, he answers that it's because he had been blinded by regrets.

"You know the story. Because of me, Peach suffered a terrible childhood. I didn't intervene, so the queen continued to abuse her, locking her more and more in the darkness until that day where she finally killed her... I quickly understood what happened... and when I understood that she began to poison me, I accepted my punishment hoping that it would put an end to her hate. and then, she created me. Seeing that she was still filled with hate and that it became worse, I did everything I could to put an end to it by helping her, hoping that by accomplishing her wish, it would disappear."

Everyone obviously wonders why he talks as if he was the real King Toadstool.

As everything starts to resolves, however, the original Peach manages to regain control of Mario's body. Robot Toadstool quickly goes to activate Silvermorph while everyone else fights the possessed plumber.

Silvermorph reveals to be a being made of some kind of silver liquid, able to take any form it wants and to use any powers based on all the beings it is made of, because this clone is made from the genes of everyone ever cloned.

The clone easily overpowers Peach only for it to make a terrible error: it uses its liquid body to immobilise Peach by getting her fist stuck in its torso.

Peach then uses the contact to transfer her spirit into Silvermorph, taking possession of it as the silver liquid turns purple.

Already almost invincible, she doesn't end here and quickly goes toward the fortress' core to repeat what she did previously. She goes into the core and absorbs all its energy, this time not merging with the fortress. As Peach absorbs the energy, Robot Toadstool quickly comes up with a plan: he will go into the core and self-destruct to create a black hole which should suck up the now god-like princess. The heroes' mission will be to ensure that Peach remains close enough that the black hole will get her.

So the heroes leave the fortress and spread the news, and as Peach finishes to absorb the fortress' energy, revealing herself now as a gaseous purple entity the size of a star, she now faces an united armada composed of originals, or robots, and of clones.

Strangely enough, G.R. has returned into the fortress to grab a towel.

Robot Toadstool then receives the message that everything is ready, and he lets himself fall into the darkened core.

And the whole fortress explodes, leaving in its place a black hole.

Everyone then works to send Peach into the black hole, but she reveals to be far too powerful. She easily destroys the ships by the thousands, and their attacks do nothing on her.

But Rosalina then returns and shows that she has created a star in the colors of the cosmos, a star in wish she has gathered the power of the universe.

And she gives it to Mario.

And thanks to its power, he is able to fight Peach, eventually sending her into the black hole. Inside it, Peach finds herself in front of an image of her father before she falls asleep.

Outside, G.R. takes the towel and flies toward the black hole just before it explodes. When everyone can see again, they can see that there is now a star where the black hole has been.

The two Peach decide to name it the Toadstool Star.

G.R. then returns with the towel in his arms wrapped around something.

That something reveals to be a baby.

Peach.

Indeed, before his sacrifice, Robot Toadstool revealed to G.R. what he intended to really do, and asked him to take her and to find for her a new, loving family. And the robot agreed.

G.R. then gives the baby to Daisy, thinking that she will make a perfect mother for the little Peach despite the baby having retained her memories. Her good heart will give the love she needs, and her temperament should allow her to control the baby when she will inevitably start to act like a little hellion.

Daisy accepts.

Not-evil-anymore Peach then decides to leave despite Good Peach proposing to her to come live in the Mushroom Kingdom, preferring to journey in the universe and see where this will lead her. G.R. and his robots also decide to leave to search for a planet to colonise.

Mario and the others return to their planet where E. Gadd eventually finishes a machines that gives Daisy back her normal strength. The Princess of Sarasaland reveals by then that she has decided to call the baby Pesca, and Mario advises Luigi to go live with her to help her in taking care of the little one, knowing Luigi's feelings.

Peace then finally returns for good (without counting Bowser). Everyone throws a party, Barduan goes to hide the Archilia, Luigi goes to live with Daisy, and little Pesca eventually stops being a pest, finally seeing that she finally has what she always wanted: love.

And Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings go their way to do something, not coming back before several years.

Thus ends my first story, but it wasn't really the end. I intended to follow it with a whole saga following the adventures of Pesca, her little brother, and their cousins against the newly crowned King Bowser Jr. and his brothers and sister in some kind of Super Mario Next Gen but I eventually stopped. Maybe, one day, I will rewrite it.

I hope you liked it.

Honestly, after seeing how long it was, I skipped most of the parts.:twilightsheepish:

But overall, the story is really good. It reminds me of Super Mario Bros Z, but much longer.

Interesting story idea. I might read the source material later. I'm following too many stories right now. I think I'm up to 4 digits as is in tracked stories.

It was heavily inspired by Super Mario Bros Z. In later fights, pretty much all the main enemies knew how to fly, and Good Peach in her Star Spirit form was a deux ex machina that could give everyone some kind of Super Sayian form to fight the likes of Evil Peach, G.R., Sniche, and Ultimario.

If you read it, know that I haven't edited the story since I posted it, so there are lots of errors and typos. And lots of moments are very clumsy. It really was my first try at a story, and it shows. Thankfully, this gets a bit better in the later chapters, and I tried to put more work in the sequels and other stories I posted there.

For some reason I feel like Sweetie Void should eventually encounter this universe, maybe just as a one off cameo reference, but still.

You really love to use and abuse the Mario bros. :pinkiehappy: don't worry that is a compliment. :raritywink: still sounds like an epic yarn. Keep that link handy one day I'll have to check it out

I love Mario, so it's no wonder.
