Hi, Everypony.
I hope you all are doing well. This past year has been challenging for so many of us and I'm hoping that it becomes easier as this new year unfolds. We've been through a lot together, as a fandom, as humans and it makes me proud of each of you to see how we have all helped one another through everything that has been going on the past two years. I believe that the Magic of Friendship and the influence it has had on each of us has been the inspiration that kept us going.
I know it has for me.
My friends here, whether know it or not, have helped be through a personally tough year.
One year.
It seems so long in some ways, but as if it were yesterday in others. Time can slip away and make memories fade. Some are forever at the front of our minds and set on our souls. Some are heavy, some are light; but those memories are always with us.
One year.
The first year without RarityEQM. I treasured her as my friend, as my little sister, as a gifted writer. I will always think of her and have the memories of the time we shared, the conversations and the bond we shared. She was a wonderful person with a generous soul. I miss her, so very much.
The one thing she feared, she told me once, was being forgotten. I hope she knows, wherever she may be, that I will always remember.
Thank you all for helping me through this year. Just knowing you were here means so much. Your kindness and caring is something that I will always carring in my heart, too.

Yeah, the fandom has helped me through the year, too. I honestly probably would have just sat on my butt playing video games the whole time with nothing to read or write. But having a community to be a part of has helped tremendously.

Without the fandom, I wouldn't have met my amazing fiancée so it's a pretty great place to be. We may have our issues, all fandoms do, but at the end we are all here to help each other.
