The epilogue has been posted. Starlight Glimmer moves on, trying to establish a normal life. With Starlight Glimmer, you’ve got to figure that won’t be easy. I usually detail a next chapter here, but this time I am announcing the REMASTERED version of the story that started it all: The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers. Start here.
Because that story was written in 2016, the Starlight in that story did not totally match up with the one in The Runaway Bodyguard. For that reason, I’ve recast elements of the story and made it a true continuation and sequel. It is now in syndication and I will publish it as quickly as I can get it from the pre-reader. As a bonus, it will have new chapters. The original ending, while it explains how Starlight ends up so hell-bent on removing cutie marks from the flank of the oppressed ponies of Equestria, wasn’t entirely satisfying. Keeping the story in-canon sometimes conflicts with what you have learned about the characters while writing them. The REMASTERED version will have an alternate AU ending where Starlight engages with her arch-nemesis with the fate of Equestria at stake.
