I first watched Friendship is Magic just before the second season premiere in 2011. After that, I had a very limited connection with the fandom, only really looking at fan art and reading news on EQD. I never read fanfiction until recently, so I missed a lot of fan powered lore being shared. And because of that, I missed the whole Pie sisters Pac-Man inspired naming scheme. I'm glad that I did. Even for Pinkie's family it would be dumb. And let's be honest, it would have been uninspired.

Maud Pie? That's fucking brilliant. Better than Inkie Pie.
