Hello all, just a quick reminder that I'm still here. Wow, I've been working on this story for so many years now. But in any case, I am happy to still have it going. Yes I know my posting as slowed to a crawl, but this story IS still going. Case in point in that I just finished another chapter.
So as anyone who has read at least my first chapter will know, I have health issues. I have A LOT of health issues. And they are getting worse. I know I don't owe anyone an apology, but that's not the same thing as just being open and wanting to be transparent with my readers. I have three young kids, while I'm not terminal yet I am slowly dying, and with worsening depression/anxiety sometimes writing is hard. It's not even content creation. I've already finished the story in my head/outline. It's just that my energy levels are so much lower than they were a few years ago. So transcribing my story from my brain into text really takes a lot out of me. But above all please know that I LOVE THIS STORY. It's my passion. Writing this story doesn't make things harder on me, it's my catharsis. It gives me something motivational to hold onto. So I thank you for being patient with me and I give my appreciation to those who stick around for the next chapter, despite my delays.

Hi! I've always wanted to comment on this blog since you originally posted it but didn't have the time until now. It's very kind of you to explain why you take time to update this, we all have a life, and various problems that come with it. Personally, as I stated in my reply to your comment on my page, it's really one kind of a story and I'm always delighted when you add a new chapter. It's cool to see a writer as happy to work on it as his readers wondering what will happen next.
So, take your time, keep doing what you love, we'll always be here waiting for the next update

Hello Ponche, I really want to thank you for your kind and well worded message. I really appreciate what you said and I have been amazed by the fan response I've received to this story. I do regret that progress has slowed down to a crawl or in some cases to an absolute stop, but the story is always on my mind and my drive to finish it is never ending.
My home life has unfortunately hit an absolute low. I am in a physically healthy environment but in a very mentally stagnating situation. I just don't have the support I need right now. That combined with my poor physical health and crippling anxiety/executive dysfunction, has caused the progress on my writing to take a hit. But just because I am not at the moment physically capable to apply the words to paper, so to speak, doesn't mean I'm not still here. That is why I made this update-blog and have maintained one for the past two years. It's my way of trying to reach back out to my readers and let them know this tale is not an abandoned work. And kind words such as yours really do help my spirit to keep me going. So once again, thank you. And I hope to have many more chapters released soon.
