So yeah. That's a thing. 🎇
I first got into Pony in the middle of 2020, though I was aware of it well before that. Being unemployed at the time, I was looking for stuff to watch between submitting job apps, and for whatever reason Netflix suggested it after I'd finished Beastars S1. I figured I'd give it a few episodes and see how things came out.
I'm sure most of you can guess what happened after that 'trial'. 
As an occasional dabbler in fanfiction, I kicked around an idea or two for a while, and finally wrote something short I submitted to the website.
For a story that didn't have any art, which was fairly rough overall, and which went live on December 30th in the middle of the night in America, I was happy with four updoots.
The next story, in my wisdom, also had no art, and I dropped it on a Sunday night. Between that and the Sad tag, and it's not a surprise it didn't get much traction either.
But hey, I wasn't in this for traction, I was in it for sharing the occasional idea.
Around then, I joined the Fimfic Discord, got to know some people, got irritated by a conversation where people insisted Cadance was useless, and decided I'd write a story where she wasn't.
A few people seemed to like it, so I thought I'd stick around for a while and see where this all went.
So now I'm here, a year later, 24 stories submitted, with a decent stack still in progress. I had planned to try and have something out for today to make 25...but I'm also not about to rush something just to meet an arbitrary deadline. I'll have things ready to go in the new year.
(yes, that includes some longer projects I've been quiet on)
To the kind people I've met, who've helped me with sticky sections, listened to my inane ramblings, and provided a needed source of humor during the rough times, thank you.
And to the more than 300 people who thought my writing was entertaining enough to follow my future work, thank you as well. It means more than you likely realize.

Huh, I thought you were here for longer.
I honestly thought you'd been here longer. Weird to imagine this site without you, as corny as that sounds. You definitely belong here! (And I agree, Cadence is definitely not useless).
