As for me, I feel pretty.. empty inside sort of.. I guess since this is the first Christmas since I lost Grandpa and how its a couple a weeks away from the day grandpa got sent to the hospital..

I'm just a random person who stumbled over this blog of yours, but I want to give you my condolences. Losing a family member is always hard, and it's even worse when it happens close to holidays when everyone else is trying to be happy and have a good time. It gets easier as time goes on, but it's hard to forget the stigma of death completely.

As for losing grandpa, I lost him in January of this year.
Which still hits hard as losing someone in the holidays due to it happened a few weeks after Christmas.
It hurts that Christmas would be the last Christmas I spend with him..

I understand. Some years ago, I lost both my grandparents as well as two dogs (who were a part of the family for almost 20 years) a few days before Christmas. I know that it hurts, but at least you got to spent the Christmas with him. I hope you two had a great time together.

Quite fine, albeit given I spent most of it going through some extra workload, it wasn't exactly the best kind of holiday. Still managed to find some free time to rest and relax though. What about you? (Besides the emptiness and hurt, of course.)
