Is doing readings of my own fics considered "vain"?

So last summer, I did a partial reading of my own story, "The Day that Harmony Died", but I never got around to finishing or publishing it.

I only recorded up to the first line break, all in one take.
How does my voice sound? I've had some third-party readings of my stories, but would y'all like to see me do my own story readings?

If it's vain to provide your own story in audio form, is it vain to present your own story in written form also?

If you aren't allowed to present your stories to us, we will miss out.
