So I won't lie, all of what I'm gonna show to you is made using AI. But I'm not using these as the "Finished looks", but these are more of concepts, as I'm terrible at drawing, and don't have cash to pay someone to draw them. But this is the main idea:

Christmas Discussions · 1:53am Dec 18th, 2021

Don't worry, it's nothing serious. I'm currently working on a Holiday themed chapter for Deadpool in Equestria 2, and a future chapter for The Wolf of Equestria. (The latter probably being posted in January)

What I'm mostly making this is a fun little discussion we can have about our favorite Christmas/Holiday themed movies and specials. From the Classics of old to new, comedies to dramas, and even action to horror, what are some of your family's beloved Classics? These are a few personal choices of mine in no particular order

Definitely the oldest movie out of the bunch, but you can't help but feel giddy about how much one man can change a whole lot and realize that though he may not have the life he's wanted, but the life he has is cherished.

The obligatory Rakinbass stop motion shorts that play on TV a lot, and you can argue they've not exactly aged well, but I think the not so great stop motion adds more charm.

Talking about the original 1966 TV short, not the 2003 Jim Carrey version (though it is a guilty pleasure) and DEFINITELY not the 2019 Illuminations movie. It really is a straight forward story of how some guy tries to stop Christmas from happening, but realizes it's not the stuff, but something else entirely.

Any version of Charles Dickon's classic story works well, but this is mainly watched in my father's side of the family. We just can't help but love the Muppets, and it's Brian Henson's first movie and a loving homage to his father, Jim Henson, so being so great to watch makes it much sweeter.

Admittedly, I think we all watch it for the hilarious slap stick action at the last act, seeing 2 idiot burglars getting repeatedly owned by a kid's ingenuity. But watching it fully really shows that family is important, no matter how hectic it feels, and being alone isn't always that great.

Will Ferrel just makes this movie work and it's still hilarious to see him being a fish out of water. Plus, many of the shots use real random people in New York, so I can only imagine how confused they are to see a guy running around in an elf costume.

Yeah, it's a horror movie, but it's all about family getting together. It's more or less what everyone has to go through each Christmas in the world of Futurama, but instead of being killed, they're trapped forever in purgatory. A nice scare for the kiddies.

The best Christmas movie ever! ... to my brother at least, lol. It's all set in Christmas Eve, there's tons of Christmas decorations and music, so it counts as a Christmas movie. And the naughty people get bullets instead of coal, lol.

So those are my personal choices. Like any of these as well? Have your own? Feel free to comment.

Two Rankin Bass specials I love to watch every year are The Little Drummer Boy, and The Year Without a Santa Claus. Especially the Miser Brothers!

And a few Christmas themed episodes like the one from Justice League, Christmas Who? from Spongebob, and The Best Gift Ever from MLP.

I forgot some Christmas specials for other shows. I still remember the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy special, where they got Robert Goffery to voice Santa, and how he turned into a Vampire because Mrs. Clause is an actual Vampire herself, lol
