Because hope springs eternal, apparently.
Do Lectern, Cook, or Rose participate in social media? If so, which? If not, why not?
Answers need not use cutesy alternate-world brand names.
Addendum: I think TCC56’s comment pretty much hits the nail on the head, even bringing up a few wrinkles I hadn’t thought of—which of course is why I posed the question in the first place. Spamotron’s rider about Cook is a good point as well.
Rose answers questions about war and social work on Quora.
Cook has a Reddit account he occasionally posts with, but mostly just uses it for looking at pr0n, not that he'd ever admit it.
Lecturn is a channer, but one of the rare not shitty ones. Mostly hangs out on /a/ because of course
Disclaimer: it's been years since I've read anything with Cook in it and never anything with Lecturn in it. Even with Rose it was just rereading a few of the chapters of the sirens story
Going to agree with Tramp that Rose has some work-related use, and I can see Cook having a small presence here and there. Lectern, though... The "Time Marches On" cash register display is one thing, but I think he could recognize that some things are best left untouched. The shop may have a Facebook page with a link to its own site, but I don't see him engaging in much personal use.
Lectern - store Facebook page, occasionally monitors Google reviews of the store. Has a personal Facebook, but it's largely unused and mostly there to keep tabs on old friends/relatives who are more active.
Cook - has a full set (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, etc) but has largely stopped posting from them since getting assigned to the Eloptic Machine. The situation is still high risk/secret enough that he's very tight with saying anything. Even his location and being friends with a gaggle of high school girls could possibly raise eyebrows (and there's no way the girls wouldn't immediately bombard him with friend requests if they found him.)
Rose - Linkedin for professional stuff, updated once in a blue moon. Keeps Twitter/etc so she can dig into patients and keep an eye on them. Does have her own activity, but mostly keeps to her areas of interest/knowledge - veterans groups, disability advocacy, etc. She's very close to the vest, though, because she's seen just how ugly and toxic online discourse can be in her patients and is very aggressive in curating her own connections to avoid it for herself.
I agree with TCC56 for the most part. With the addition that Cook probably lurks a lot keeping an eye out for potential fallout from magical incidents. Because while he knows there is certainly a full team of professionals already doing it better than he can none of them probably think about how it might affect the girls personally.
Off topic: I have an idea for a story prompt that I think fits your universe quite well. Do you want to hear it, or is your plate full already?

The rider about Cook is a good point. As for story prompt: I’d be interested in seeing it, but can’t make any promises about addressing it.

Okay.
I’m sure you’re familiar with the superpower origin trope of person is exposed to mysterious radiation/chemicals/plot device and don’t develop powers themselves, but their children do.
It occurred to me that Canterlot High appears to be capable of housing at least a couple thousand students. Probably at least a few dozen were the type to get married and have kids right after high school. If I understand the timeline correctly those kids should be hitting puberty just as The Campus finishes construction. Puberty is the traditional time for latent magical powers to awaken.
As I recall part of the inspiration for Cookie was you getting tired of the government always being portrayed as incompetent or evil. Kids developing powers is a scenario where the government is portrayed as both quite often. So I thought you might enjoy taking a crack at a story where it’s handled ethically and professionally.
