Gen 5 movie

Fair warning there will be spoilers. Don't read if that bothers you. Okay. So I watched the Gen 5 movie a few times and it raised a few questions. Okay the no magic thing can be explained away as a hidden side effect of Cozy Glow and her steal all the magic thing,or Tirek, or any number of super powered beings with a grudge against pony kind seriously there is a list for things that don't like ponies. This would also explain the fact that there are only three known locations for ponies. No magic means no protection means either the civilization scattered or there was a mass population drop due to being picked off by just about anything that would want to hurt a cute colorful horse. Also not surprising about how some tribes were hit harder (looking at you unicorns). And without magic well Tirek wouldn't have an interest in ponies if he escaped. But I'm wondering if now that ponies have their magic back. Will they be making a show on ponies trying to rebuild while relearning their forgotten past. Because seriously I want to know why when the three tribes had hated eachother in the past something friendship in magic doesn't hide they still had magic. (They literally have a holiday about friendship and coming together to not get eaten by ravenous winter spirits.) How hating each other would lead to loosing their magic. I want to know what caused it why three crystals now take the role of the elements and what happened to discord, celestia, and all the other immortal guardians of pony kind. Because I can’t see any of the alicorns taking this lightly and discord would use it as prank material. Or did the missing immortal princesses relate to the missing magic. Seriously I want to know how ponies lost their magic. Because they had magic and hated each other in the past so why does distrust cost ponies their magic now. It is clearly a recovering people centuries after a tragedy. I want to know what that mysterious tragedy that cost a species their main defense and near extinction was. Because seriously a prospering species shown to be spread across the PLANET. Being shrunk down to three cities that aren't even that big. Has to be one hell of an event. That would be like something causing the human population to drop down to New York, Seattle, and Tucson. So, it had to be major like mass extinction major. And for all the world has recovered you can still see the scars it left behind. So, Netflix if you make this a show you have your pick of plot points. You hid enough in the background of your movie. The gradual extinction of a species, a huge gap in historical memory, missing immortals, and more. This movie reads like the long slow recovery after some apocalyptic nightmare set in pastel cuteness if you know where to look and where is twilight, cadence, and the others. Celestia and Luna are clearly somewhere since they atleast still have day and night. So that is something I suppose.
