Just a history loving brony from South Carolina. Can be quite opinionated at times and am not usually very subtle about it.

It sure has been a while. To those of you who care, I haven't abandoned my story. My extended absence can best be explained as health issues. I came down with an as-of-yet-unknown virus at the end of November after attending my uncle's funeral. I was sick in bed for two and a half weeks. I couldn't go to work, I couldn't write, I couldn't even watch TV. I've been working hard to make up for my

    Slava Ukraini!

Congratulations to the people of Ukraine for the Libertarian of Kherson. May Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Japan, Germany, Finland, Chechnya, and all others occupied by the orcs drive them off their lands!

My views on the current state of affairs

As months turn to years since the 2020 election I can’t help but worry we’ve only delayed America’s descent into authoritarianism by a few years.

    I’m moving

I’ll be moving on March 31st due to my new job as an assistant park ranger. I have a lot to do to get ready for the move and will need to get situated in my new apartment once I’ve finished the move. As such, Regression: Isekai of Equestria will be on hiatus until mid-April. We are approaching the final chapter of the first story in this saga and I’d like to thank my readers for giving this story

    Story Updates

Hello everyone who's been following my story. As you may have noticed I didn't upload any chapters last month. I spent January slowly reading through my story and noticed a few things I want to change. Most notably, as many of you have pointed out, the use of foreign words by some of my characters is confusing. I plan to edit that dialogue to have the Elements of Chaos use just a few commonly

Thoughts on Rittenhouse trial: A Just Verdict and Rhetorical Nightmare · 11:02am Nov 20th, 2021

I’m no fan of the police, militias, Proud Boys, or most anything right leaning. So, it may come as a surprise that I agree with the Rittenhouse verdict. I am. Rittenhouse was attacked and he fought back. All the evidence points towards this being the case. I say this as an open socialist.

It’s deeply troubling that a minor was allowed to be in that situation to begin with, but we cannot kid ourselves into thinking that this changes anything regarding self defense. Nor can we let his equally troubling fraternization with Proud Boys cloud our judgment.

The false narrative that Liberals and Leftists have spun over the Kenosha shooting is going to come back and bite us if we let it. I realize that it is no different from what Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson do on a regular basis, but we cannot afford to lower ourselves to the right’s level. The average American holds the left to a vastly different standard than they hold the right. A lie from us is not as easily forgiven as one from the other side. There are far more important issues to deal with at the moment so to any Liberal or Leftist who might read this. Please do not make Rittenhouse the hill you die on. Live to fight another day.

I have to say, I agree with you, on the fact that the verdict was just, and just about that only. Beyond that a sour taste lingers in my mouth, though from that alone I can say you have my respect, as such, I would like to take this opportunity to talk with you, over a few points, should there be no qualms of course.
