Hello my dear readers if you are still around, i thank you if you are.
I have been doing a decent amount t of thinking regarding my main series and other things while I've been sick the last two weeks and I've realized something.
Part of the reason I ran into trouble with the series is being able tk see the ponies as pinkes doing some of the things I need them too.
I noticed it with The Princess and The Soldier with the sword fight scene but there are others.
I realized now a major flaw in the series is the ponies being kept ponies rather then made anthro to allow for me to achieve ehat I want.
So I have a question for everyone.
Would you be upset if I did a heavy retcon in the series and made them anthro?
Thats all I wanted to know.

I wouldn't be upset, but that's a lot of retcon to do.
Not at all. In fact, I was hoping for years if you would try something like this. As far as I can tell, you only did one anthro story that's non-canon with your main soldier universe stories and placed it in the universe of Fall of Equestria where Princess Twilight has yet to appear. Here's hoping your retcon version of your main soldier stories improve. 😁

You could just have the anthro version and the pony version be separate stories. Just my take on a solution.
ok and wow that is a shit ton of work to convert your story(s) to anthro.
and to be 100% honest anthro is a hard sell for me.
but i will keep reading as your story's are just that dam good.

Not sure how I'd do that since the main thing that will change will be just easier to picture and describe certain actions like combat and such but I can try if I figure out how.

If you feel that's what you want to do I say go for it.
If you want to but changing some scene will be a complaint rewrite since in one scene in the first stories they are surprised doing the fight that twilight stands on two legs, never mind the whole it's a pony thing in the first story solder of magic is a big thing. Not saying don't your story do what you feel like but you will need to recon and rewrite the whole first story in the solder series.
What about some techno/magic evolution where they change themself to antro in later stories, because Twilight know humans and think their body structure is better?

I'd be glad your back, Happy your working, but Really, I wouldn't read it. I just flat out do not interact with anthro content. I don't know why it bugs me so, but it does.
Go for it. If this helps the ponies things ponies do seem more natural in the story and helps you progress then thats great. There are some parts that I enjoyed which required the difference to be there, mainly in the first book, so it will be interesting and good to re-read them again (fourth time) with the retcon complete.
I would suggest keeping the original one somewhere for people who would like to read the pony specific one, as they were what originally captivated us all. Maybe as an EPUB/PDF link the description.
Overall I look forward to the retcon and your continuing works :-)

I have no idea when or even if I'll rewrite the older fics. Just from here on out ill be most likely doing anthro. Or it may only apply to this current fic who knows.
We will see.
Just don't know when I'll do any rewriting.
