1/10—a terrible movie; a total waste of time
0/10—a worthless piece of abomination; should have never been made

Greetings, everyone. Mr. J here.

It has been quite a while since I’ve done a re-review of a movie before. Well, ever since I watched 2021’s The Suicide Squadfor the first time, I found myself enjoying it so much to the point where it made me forget the original film even existed. Ever since then, my respect for Suicide Squad (2016) decreased drastically. But not only that, I saw clearly how different both of them were in terms of the acting, story, choreography, and the characters. Considering the fact that the new film successfully carried out all these qualities, I no longer like the original film.

I only watched this movie just once at the time prior to my review thereof. While my initial issues with the movie still stand, any positives I stated in regards to the action and the character development are no longer valid.

I mean, seriously, almost everything else has been utter garbage and nonsense when it comes to the character chemistry, dialogue, the other characters, and even the plot. The villain was generic and forgettable, the story is weak, the humor was wack, most of the other characters were lame (such as Killer Croc and Katana), and the overall quality of the film was lackluster. Do not get me started with Jared Leto’s Joker.

The only characters I still like are Will Smith’s Deadshot, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, and Captain Boomerang by Jai Courtney. That’s it. Other than that, my like for this movie hasn’t aged well.

The Suicide Squad did a much better job in making the story a lot more fleshed out and way less cringeworthy. So it would be better if this movie was spoken less and remains dead and forgotten. Opinions can change, and I totally respect those who still like this movie.

Therefore, my initial rating for this movie goes from a 7/10 to a 2/10.

Peace.

Even though I haven’t seen this movie, I’m ultimately gonna skip it since future installments of the DCEU will be leaving it in the dust in terms of canonicity and relevance.

Is it that bad and if is then good thing I didn't see it since DCEU don't do DC characters jusitice
