Around a month ago, I was walking around and looking around dumpsters for free stuff. Sometimes, there's some nice stuff that I can take and use. Because, well, why use money when you don't have to? Besides, some people tend to throw out perfectly good stuff like that one exercise bike I found at the beginning of October. It's mostly just furniture, which I don't really have a use for.
This time, it's an electric kettle. I forgot about it for a bit after finding it, but today I tested it, and it's working perfectly fine. It's better than the family kettle too: it has clear plastic inserts in the sides that allow me to see how much water is left inside, and the spout doesn't spill water at all. The only downside is that there are no measuring marks for the water, but that's not that bad. Overall, it's a very nice find.
Easy to add measuring marks get a measuring cup and add a measured amount of water then use a permanent marker and draw a line at water level mark amount of water and continue till full.

I thought about it, but I never really measure water all that precisely unless I pour cold water. I'll leave it as is, it looks nice.
Nice! I feel like I already told you about the free stuff app Freebie Alerts but it isn't available in Russia or something.
Dumpster searching is a viable strategy, it seems.
