Fan theory... yes it's fucking FoE lmao

So some friends and I have been working on a rather complex fan theory about how the events of FoE transpired into g5 and the loss of magic all the way around through division. Basically, the pegasi closing off the sky was the long term catalyst for this theory in that it paved the way for division of the pony races. Granted this is heavily based on Kkat and Somber's fantastic works, along with all coinciding 'purist' FoE crossovers, but the sad thing is it feels like it holds water.

So imagine this, if you will, that the events of g5 happen 1000 years post the great war, around 500 years into this extravaganza, they discover the semiconductor and boom! we are off to the races for tech. Along that time frame we have wars, racism and fear mongering. Below will be a unedited, misspelled conglomerate of word vomit that explain where myself and my friends are thus far with this wild ass idea... IN TIME LINE FORM! yay

Arbitrary date of 2000
begin Fanon lore 2000- Equestia (g4) exists ten years prior to the great war, 5 seasons prior to show ending. Tensions between zebras and ponys escalate over trade of gems and coal.
2000.5- Zebra coal shipment due for canterlot that had been haulted is seized by equestria. Talks break down between nations instantly 2000.75- zebras mobilize, unify and begin practicing fetishes
2000.90- Massacare at littlehorn (Princess Luna's school) after taking in Zebra refugees via chorine bomb. Hundreds of fillies and colts die, Goldenblood is mortally wounded.
2001- Princess Celestia steps down, Luna assumes throne, Goldenblood is kept alive by magic and apointed Lunas head advisor, systemic racisim towards zebras takes full root and is socially acceptable/warrented
2001.5- the mane 6 begin to fallout
2006- industrialization takes hold
2007.5 industialization has dominated the landscape, fordging new technologies never before thought to be need
2008- tensions escalate and weapons research takes 1st priority, wonderbolts die in air combat with gryphons
2008.5- attempt on celestia's life, Big macintosh dies, Zebras fordge tech for blank cyborgs, first megaspell is used by MOP
2008.75 OIA adopts Megaspell's and weaponizes them.
2009- Luna becomes tyranical and head hunts ministry mares, goes after the OIA, megaspell research devulged to the zebras, twilight succeeds in making alicorns and ends up creating the goddess.
2010- bombs fall, everypony dies. Pegasi close up the skies. Those who can run to vaults, those who can't are left to fend for themselves or die. -Generational gap- (Ponies addapt to life underground and on the wasteland. Those in vaults are born naturally afraid of the sky suffering bouts of vertigo and adapt to dim conditions. Pegasi thrive above the clouds for a time. Ponies beyond stables adapt thicker coats to handle the colder winters.) 190 years later
2200- redeye begins in fillydelphia
2210- littlepip, blackjack leave stable.
2210.1- littlepip defeats Redeye. Goddess is destroyed.
2210.15 Blackjack falls into the core in hoofinton. Battle of Neighvarro.
2210.2 Gardens of Equestria goes off and purges the land of taint/radiation/pink cloud, Littlepip is now in the spp and controls the weather
2210.4- blackjack emerges from the core. The rise of Cogneitum. Gangs of hoofington call ceasefire. Gang leaders meet.
2210.45- battle of hoofinton, project horizons is fired on target with slight altered trajectory, Blackjack dies for the 4th and final time, star spirits are defeted. (not taking FoE: PH epilogue into account)
2210.75- civilization begins to rebuild End fannon lore Begin speculation.

2210.75AW- 2500AW Pegasi- Due to segregation of pegasi from earth and unicorns, the pegasi are reluctant to return to the surface but instead begin to settle on mountain tops that they had already mined for resources (cannon to FOE:PH). Ponies on the earth are still prejudiced towards Pegasi for closing off the sky when the bombs fell. This causes them to self segrigate. Seeing the drawbacks of a waring culture, those who survived the encursions of the Enclave and Neighvarro abbandon their bombed homes and settle near canterlot where they would soon rob it of resources and drive out the gouhls. Unicorns- Unicorns feeling they are the superior race, try to suppress earthponies to manual labor of clean up for a time before infighting forces them apart. (cannon to Fo:E- unicorns feel superior to other races for their ablity to do magic. Soon both Earth and pegasi shun unicorns for their envolvement in the creation of Megaspells. Unicorns are forced away from open spaces that Earthponies tend to dominate. They gravitated towards wooded, cave riddled areas naturally due to their affinity for crystals. Earth ponies- Earthponies begin to gather in clusters near oceans and begin to explore alternative eating habbits. Domonating many of the open spaces, farming becomes the cash crop of the day. Due to their lack of involvement in the creation of deemed heinous war creations, they become emboldened by their moral status. Racisim- ponies at this point in the time line have been subject to years of endoctrination from propaganda and tend to see-think-repeate. It has become much more than just blind hate and more a naturally inherrited mindset. Earth, wind and fire are driven further apart and become much more reclusive to their races.

Tech- Due to the abundance of tech just laying around, ponies are given a leg up over these years on reclaiming civilization. Prior to the divide that separated them all into race groups, this information was shared and a common basis of science formed. Abominations - Alicorns, ghouls, monsters etc... all die out at this time due to being shunned by society and eventually being seen as threats. De-evolution takes hold and they soon die out naturally due to lack of Taint/radiation. Magic- magic will begin to weaken towards the end of this period but will take centuries to be depleted.

2500AW- semiconductor discovery, low population due to poor breading practices/gentic mutations left over from radiation exposure and taint mutations, technologies begin to dominate the landscape once more. History begins to become fractured and information forgotten. Earthponies are the first to lose their magic, largely going unnoticed.

2600- industrial revolution. Population begins to stabilize as modern medicine is practiced more and explored. Ponies latch onto technology as their main focus. Magic begins to dwindle within the Pegasi race. Ponies are born unable to fly until very late in life. Due to them spending so much time above the clouds, their embracement of life on the surface causes a 'use it or lose it' situation.

Races break off into tribes. Leaders of Pegasi, Earth and Unicorns regulary meet despite racisim. These leaders see a bigger picture and work to keep races seperated to preven another global war.

2700- towns begin to form into cities, heigherarchies are forged and traditions begin to gain age validation. Unicorns begin to loose their magic last due to their over use of it. But soon they suffered the same fate as Pegasi. The last flying pegasi dies. Pegasi magic begins to fade out naturally from lack of harmony. Information is suppressed about the war in a bid for calm among tribes.

2800- history is beginning crumble and artifacts are lost/sacraficed for developent for new worlds. Ponies begin to shun the past that showed ponies all getting along as friends. Seudo fear of other races begins to manifest as common . Population boom. Towns begin to rebuild heigher to help with population. The last unicon that can preform magic dies. Unicorn magic begins to fade out naturally. Tribes begin to become defunk. 2900- The last musium for prewar history is closed and scrapped after public opinion sides with racisim now being factual. Population control in the form of social pressure to conserve resources and stem over population due to small living spaces of current towns. Magic is repaced with skill. The last tribe, Earthponies absorbs into the landscape of growing cities.

3000- ponies have settled into their lives. Exploration is frowned on as dangerous dues to broken information and corupted knowledge. Rather than expanding outward, towns expand upwards and enforce breeding protocals.
3200- large cities have formed, breeding protocols are in place, The rise of social media, capitalism
3210- Sunny Star Scout, Hitch, Izzy, Zipp are born
3215- Sunny's mom dies from cancer due to genetic predisposition
3220- Sunny send her letter with her dad
3228- Sunny's dad dies from heart failure
3229- MLP New Generation

As you can see there is plenty of turd polishing to be done, but for the most part this is one of the theories we have come up with in a drunken rage.

I mean, dynamically it would explain so much! I like to think of myself as a people watcher in the sense that I like being able to see the cause and effect of life on humans and their reaction to it. I feel like, even though the pegasi did eventually start to aid the surface that there was just too much indoctrination there to over look. the fact that prejudice runs deep and is set as a base instinct when looked at through the scope of the primal brain, would eventually lead to something like this happening without magic to help things along.

I'm open to comments on this and would love to hear your thoughts on why i'm wrong or on something I missed! I just love the idea of this so much because it would make FoE cannon in some light.
