    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Heya, folks!

While this is primarily a DaD update, there is more to it, and I'd really appreciate it if you read the whole blog. Anyway—

Things are moving pretty slowly. You'll remember a couple of weeks ago I was looking for some more doctoral help, and I'm happy to say that I got it (THANK YOU to those of you who provided). Unfortunately, the info I was given does make things a bit difficult. There's a lot more to the process than I originally wrote in. Luckily, what I DO have written doesn't necessarily have to be scrapped, but a LOT needs to change or be moved around. Those necessary changes combined with some general block is causing me problems. :ajsleepy:

What I've been doing in the interim is going through my later DaD chapters and refining what's there. I've been trying to write the next chapters in between the two sets of consecutive chapters that I have (a total of about ten), and again, trouble up the wazoo. So I've basically been reading through my bookshelves to try and cool my systems from the frustration of not being able to write.

That said, Jinglemas is coming up, so I'll have something else to work on for a bit. Maybe I'll get a spark of something while I'm at it. F:yay:, maybe I'll offer commissions. I've never done that since I don't like the restrictions, but I guess I'll try anything once. Anyway, for the 'more to it' part of this blog—

Is anybody going to the LA Comic Con? I'll be heading over there from the east coast since I have VIP-ish access to a movie preview, but as of the moment it's just me. And it's kinda depressing wandering a Comic Con alone. I'd like to post this in a group or the Discord somewhere, but the Convention Planning group here seems to be devoted to Brony Cons, posting in other groups most likely goes against their rules, and the #conventions channel in the discord is kinda dead (and most likely should be reserved for Brony Cons as well, though I could be wrong).

I've even tried searching around Reddit, but I'm not having any luck finding people to meet up with. So if anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

Hopefully I'll have some better DaD news in the near future, but until then, see y'all next time!

Good luck with the writing and LA Comic Con both! I'm afraid I don't know where you might find someone to attend the latter with, though, sorry.
